Their doctorate is real and from an accredited institution
Their doctorate is relevant to the subject matter of the book

i had such a tumblr moment during jaanip盲ev
i was talking with someone in estonian since we were next to the river and neither of us fish so we were trying to talk about this certain fish, she was describing it as "the long one with the ugly head" but we couldnt remember the name
then i remembered the song hei hoi hauki from suomitumppu and thought "pike has an ugly head. and pike is hauki in finnish. and finnish is estonian with extra letters" so i tenitively said
"...hauk?"
and guess what. haug was the right word. this is the kind of linguistics that can only come from the internet
