Eva is currently playing Eponine in the West End production of Les Miserables. She has just finished playing Kim in Miss Saigon and is about to reprise her role on BROADWAY!!

Have you watched our funniest One Minute With WES video yet?????

The star that is Jon Jon Briones took on our challenge last week and it is hilarious. You will recognise Jon Jon as the Engineer in Miss Saigon, a role in which he was nominated for an Olivier Award for, however he also appeared in the original London production 25 years ago! He was Ensemble in this production. 

Next year, Jon Jon is off to broadway to reprise his role as the Engineer in the Miss Saigon transfer along with Eva Noblezada.

The incredible Ryan Lee Seager is this weeks One Minute With WES!

Ryan has worked on many shows as choreographer, director and performer. His credits include West Side Story, Kiss Me Kate, Seussical, AmericanIdiot, Blood Brothers and Fame!

WES students will recognise Ryan as one of our fantastic dance teachers. He was also on the X Factor in 2010 in boyband FYD! What a superstar!

The lovely Stuart Hickey takes on the One Minute With WES Challenge!! He gets a fantastic score and enters the leaderboard at 2nd!!

Stuart's career so far has included appearances in Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and Starlight Express to name just a few. He is currently in rehearsals for the UK Tour of Mamma Mia which opens very soon!

Stuart is a WES legend and a lot of you will recognise him over the years as one of our fabulous drama teachers!

We're very lucky to have the fantastic ARIELLE CAMPBELL taking on the One Minute With WES Challenge this week! She is way up there on the high score list just missing the top score!

Arielle has an amazing list of credits on her CV including Oliver!, The Lion King and Mary Poppins. You may also recognise her from her most recent appearance in Memphis at the Shaftesbury Theatre. 

WES15 student will know Arielle as she lead our wonderful masterclasses last Summer. She is now performing with the Mark Stuart Dance Theater!

NEW VIDEO!!

We took a trip backstage at the Lyceum to chat to the fabulous RICHARD FRAME for this weeks One Minute With West End Stage Challenge. Richard is currently starring in The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre playing the role of Timon.

Other credits include Blue Remembered Hills (Chichester Festival Theatre), London Assurance (National Theatre), Me and My Girl (UK tour) and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (West Yorkshire Playhouse). He has also appeared in a number of T.V. shows including Outnumbered, Holby City, MI High, Kingdom, Family Affairs, and The Bill.

So the news is out!! This year West End Stage will be taking you to see CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY!! Having been nominated for 7 Olivier Awards, the show has been received with critical acclaim. It is currently at the famous Theatre Royal, Drury Lane which has been home to shows such as Shrek The Musical, Oliver! and Lord Of The Rings The Musical! Featuring ingenious stagecraft, the wonder of the original story that has captivated the world for almost 50 years is brought to life with music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (the guys who wrote HAIRSPRAY!). A chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and the curiously peculiar Oompa-Loompas must be believed to be seen in this gigantic new musical that is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses. If you were a student at #WES14 then you may remember some of the catchy songs and funky dances! We can't wait to see it!! Every year, we take our WES students to see a different show in London’s West End!!

Previous years we’ve been to see Wicked, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Memphis the Musical to name but a few! But which show will we see this year?

We’ve finally decided the show and booked the tickets so now it’s up to you to book your places for the hottest Summer School in town! On Monday we will be announcing the show that we are seeing this year so make sure you look out for it on our social media!!

Nikki Mae is up next to take on the One Minute With WES Challenge and she does VERY well!

Nikki trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and since graduating has appeared in lots of shows including Evita, Hair and more recently, Mamma Mia in the West End. Those of you who attended WES15 may recognise Nikki as one of our fabulous teachers.

This week we have the wonderful Jonathan Dudley taking our One Minute With WES Challenge.

Jonathan has taught at WES for 4 years now so lots of you will recognise him! Earlier this week, he opened in the West End cast of The Book Of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre!

Before this, Jonathan has appeared in shows such as Scrooge The Musical, Titanic The Musical and Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat as well as the Les Miserables film!

Watch the fabulous Emily Bull take on the One Minute With West End Stage challenge!

Emily has performed a lot in the West End most recently in The Sound of Music Live and Sweeney Todd (English National Opera AND the Adelphi Theatre). She's also played Cosette in Lés Miserables (Queens Theatre) and Frenchy in Grease the Musical (Piccadilly Theatre).

We were also very lucky to have her as part of our 2015 teaching staff.

The lovely Eva Noblezada has a go at the #OneMinuteWithWES Challenge!

Eva is currently making her West End debut playing Kim in Miss Saigon after being spotted in the finals of the National High School Music Theater Awards in America. She is taking over the role of Eponine in Les Miserables later in the year!

Last year, Eva won the 2015 Whatsonstage Award for Best Actress in a Musical (for her role as Kim)!
