Does your muse have any siblings? If so where do they fit in age-wise between them?
Are their parents still together or not?
What is their relationship like with their parents or siblings? Is there a reason for it being that way?
Did their family have any notable or odd traditions that carry through to their daily life now?
What sort of life lessons, if any, did their parents/guardians teach them? Did they stick?
Are they adopted or were in or in foster care? If so do they know their birth parents?
Did they spend a lot of time with their family, or did they tend to keep to themselves?
Do they look up to and aspire to be like anyone in their family? If so, why?
Did they dislike or avoid anyone in their family? Was their any reason for it?
Was their family close-knit or not?
Were there any sort of illnesses, physical or mental, that run through the family? Do they suffer from them or did it skip them by?
Do they still keep in contact with their family? If not, why?
