Honestly its one of the things that makes me so sad about how much people misunderstand the goth subculture; they make it all about fashion & aesthetic when it was NEVER supposed to be about that and then people worry they cant be goth if theyre poor. the fashion is lotss of fun of course but at the end of the day you extract your own meaning from it all and you can still be goth as hell if you just stay in your pajamas and like, write sad poetry while listening to the cure THATS ALL YOU NEED !!
