mercury rules our quality of mind and nervous system. it also rules the enteric nervous system and digestion, as we now know the gut is filled with millions of nerve cells we consider it our ‘second brain’ the condition of mercury in the birth chart can give us some indication of how we manage and express nervous energy
~mercury in aries: nerves can cause tension headaches, racing thoughts and strong need for re-assurance, clumsiness that makes one accident prone, hot flashes, wired physical energy that makes them want to jump out of their skin
~mercury in taurus: nerves can cause high pressure headaches, appetite changes, bloating, fluid retention, compulsive re-enactment of private rituals
~mercury in gemini: nerves can cause excessive talkativeness, but you know their nerves are very bad when they go completely silent, cannot centre themselves - heavy head, empty body

~mercury in leo: nerves can cause heart flutters and chest tension, hair loss and high blood pressure, hot flashes, returning of distressing memories, a frustration rampage
~mercury in virgo: restless body, hand tremors, stomach cramps and appetite changes, butterflies in the tummy with bladed wings, ritualistic activity, retreating into their isolated bubble
~mercury in libra: bladder sensitivity, financial impulsivity, talkativeness, social anxiety in situations where they usually feel comfortable, suspicions that friends and loved ones secretly dislike them
~mercury in scorpio: general agitation at people, stronger need for the safety of being in control, feeling that the world is out to sabotage them, shutting down conversation
~mercury in sagittarius: restless and jittery legs, a wired physical energy that makes them want to jump out of their skin, inattentiveness, shutting down conversation
~mercury in capricorn: skin break outs, dryness, irritation, a general anger at the world, a detached or glaze expression that people find hard to get a response out of
~mercury in aquarius: excessive mental activity, compulsive re-enactment of private rituals, detachment and withdrawal, silence, inability to explain themselves

Venus in the 9th house - Higher Mind Honeymoon
She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. She knows nothing of borders and cares nothing for rules or customs. ‘Time’ for her isn’t something to fight against. Her life flows clean, with passion, like fresh water.
Roman Payne
Venus in the 9th people have a sacred appreciation for the human mind, body, and spirit that calls her to devotion into worshiping, apotheosising, and celebrating their existence like a lifelong religion. The higher mind is an ornate and scenic dwelling with exquisite decor, books open and warm from fresh eyes, and the desire to realise the ideal philosophy into physical existence. Love is a personal and cosmic experience for the person with Venus in the 9th. The individual may voyage through hearts and minds searching for the relationship that unveils the ultimate divine reunion. She recognises the Goddess within people and recreates their stories in her own mythology. There is typically a fondness for learning, blooming her mind, and reading the thoughts of God that other people have transcribed through theology, astrology, creative writing, and philosophy. She is receptive to expansive and enlightening conversation, and there may be a natural attraction to teachers, intellects, writers, travellers, and spiritual guides. There may be displayed interest in different cultures and rituals, the human psyche, sociology, anthropology, writing, educating, law, publishing, international relations and diplomacy. She may have a calling to visit far away landscapes, experience different faiths, doctrines, and beliefs, taste exotic cuisine, and hear the voices of an unknown language play a melody in her ear. She is inspired by the natural beauty that reveals itself with different colours in every corner of the globe, divine poetry comes to life before her eyes, and she is receptive to every gesture of love that the universe conducts. The act of self-indulgence and satiating personal pleasure is a ceremonial prayer and gratitude for the Gods.
The heart can long for vague image of salvation in love with Venus in the 9th, and the ideal universe is her remarriage with spirit and matter. The individual carries her philosophy and applies it wherever she goes. For example if she is a psychologist, she sees the practice of psychology as a great philosophy, or if she is a teacher she is educating by the manner of her higher personal teaching philosophy. Otherworldly material can taste luck sucking cotton candy, and there can be enchanting allure into the sights and sound beyond this world. She may attach to belief systems for the image rather than practice the teachings, buy new age books and charms on impulse, and mimic the right language. This is absolutely less than satisfying and she knows deep down that her heart is absent. It’s possible that during dark periods of her life that she abandons or feels betrayed by her faith. These hefty spiritual ideals can also be unknowingly projected onto her relationship partner. Without causation she can become dissatisfied, underwhelmed, or sensing that something is missing from her relationship. She manages to find the inclusive love that she desires through her personal relationship with the inner Goddess. As she lays her head to sleep, she can hear the song that the stars wrote just for her, listen to sacred charms blow through the wind, and let the light rise her in the sunlight. The universe reveals spiritual law in delicate and harmonic natural sequences. It designs a magnificent, exclusive sanctuary that brings her ashore with gentle waves crashing honeycomb milk from a crystal lagoon. This is a marriage altar for the great love of the universe in preparation for her homecoming.
Shared experience is a prayer and cosmic elevator with Venus in the 9th. She catches a glimpse of the divine when she has been moved by beauty, entranced creatively, delighting in collective joy, and through the love that she receives. There is a magnet that draws mentors and wise guides into her presence, and they covertly blend their message into conversation and watch if she has been truly listening. She may be a gifted spiritual artist, gospel singer, or esoteric writer. Her heart and mind is a passport that flies lovers around the globe inside, crossing the borders of consciousness and revealing the world in a new and sparkling light. She has a philosophy about love in which she enacts and regulates according to spiritual law. Relationships may be quite serendipitous with chance encounters or bizarrely parallel life timelines. The 9th house genie spins the wheel of fortune and favour in the direction of her authentic and karmic relationships. Her mood can seem to move the universe and her partner’s lucky hand. When she is blissful and content, the partner is blessed with the jackpot. And when there is tension in the relationship, the partner can suffer continual strokes of bad luck. The spirit is a free roamer that relies on trust, openness, and autonomy to flutter through the petals of different minds, stories, and alchemic energies and harvest this pollen like a honeybee that she will transmute into golden honey of wisdom. She offers the same freedom to her lover in return and becomes rather rattled confined in a cage. There is a positive response to change, spontaneous adventure together, and finding a way to understand and compromise opposing belief systems and ideologies. She marks her lover’s heart with a seashell that plays the wave of the universe, and she teaches the way of seeing the beauty present in every perspective of reality. Her bed becomes a vessel that sails her across seven seas of imagination in the direction of love letters the universe has written for her. In every passage and view she finds a way to fall in love with a different manifestation, moving mosaic, and reflection of herself.

Venus: The Goddess of Love
Venus rules all things beautiful in love, lust, and desire, so it only makes sense that this placement represents how you attract your lovers. This sign is where you express love in all types of relationships, such as family, friends, crushes, and significant others. When looking at compatibility between you and your love interest, combinations of both your sun and venus sign are essential to getting a better understanding of each other. Often times your venus and sun signs may be the same which in turn cause an ever bigger influence on your acts of love, but this may not happen every time. Venus rules Libra and Taurus which means both signs are associated with beauty, sensuality, and materialism. If you have Venus in Libra or Venus in Taurus these placements are comfortable here since the planets are in place with their ruler.
Venus in Aries: The admirable child-like spirit in Aries is no different in this placement. You attract your lovers with your ability to literally not give a fuck. You go after you want, no questions asked. You don’t like to waste time so anyone who plays games is getting cut off. Your actions are impulsive, almost selfish, actually very selfish, but this won’t be a problem to the person who really understands you. However, you will be attracted to many people since you get bored easily and can fall in and out of love quickly. Overall, you exude confidence, are not afraid to stand out, and you want things to be simple & direct.
Venus in Taurus: Loyalty and constant devotion are your greatest attributes with friends and family. In love you seek security and comfortability often ruling out those who are fake and filled with drama. You enjoy fine dining and fine living. You are what they call husband or wifey material because of your desire to settle down and build a home with someone, kind of like Cancer. Change does not come easy to you so you may find yourself stubborn and set in your ways when it comes to love. The strong appetite for sensual gratification in the bull reaches from the dining table to the bedroom, and they will make sure you are taken care of in both matters.
Venus In Gemini: It’s a no brainer that the way to your heart is through your mind. This Gemini is fun, flirty, and just wants to enjoy life in a number of ways. For this reason, you can only be tied down by someone who is capable of keeping you interested for, essentially, the rest of your life. It’s important for you to truly get to know a person before getting into a relationship. Otherwise, if you are not stimulated you will move on quickly. There is never a dull moment with you and you just want to be surrounded by other individuals who share this same interest. In matters of love, the dual personality shows a good side and a dark side, but this combination creates a unique, and inspiring individual.
Venus in Cancer: You are attracted to those who need you. You aim to nurture and provide an emotional blanket for your loved ones. Your intuition runs high and you use this to better take care of your partner. Although this can make them vulnerable because you might meddle into their lives to make sure you are needed. Depending on your sun or moon sign, you can be quite emotional and hurt easily but hide it well. Like any Cancer, once you get into your shell it’s hard to get you out of it. You are loyal, a great listener, and create families out of your friends. Overall, you have a big heart and this makes you very attractive.
Venus in Leo: In order for your heart’s desire to be satisfied you need to be loved at all times. Sex isn’t even all that important to you if you’re not being made the center of attention. Feelings of insecurity rise for the Leo when you are not told that you are different or special. You don’t want to be like everyone else, you want to stand out. You are loyal, generous, and love hard. You have a lust for life and surround yourself with colorful people. Your sunny personality makes you fun to be around. You live a lavish life and show off your relationships and hope to be shown off the same way. It’s important for your loved ones to express their love to you in grand gestures because you expect the royal treatment.
Venus in Virgo: Like Cancer, you want your loved ones to need you and appreciate you, this makes you happiest. You work quietly into the heart of others, taking your time getting to know people by observing them. Punctuality is important to you and you take this into matters of love as well often focusing on practical aspects of a relationship rather than being romantic. You don’t ask for much in a relationship but your partner might find it hard to satisfy what you want because you focus on small details that one can easily ignore. The pickiest of all signs, the person who wants the key to your heart has to be perfect or at least close to it. Is that too much to ask? Maybe, but you’re not willing to settle for anything less.
Venus in Libra: The world you envision is one of peace and serenity. You treat others the way you’d want to be treated. When all is well, both you and your partner are putting in the same effort into the relationship. Because of how dependent you are, you will most likely always be in a relationship. You’re all about fairness. You don’t like to stir the pot so you might conform to other people’s needs just to be likable, especially to stronger personalities that make you feel threatened. However, your personable appearance and amazing social skills cause you to be attractive to others no matter what you look like. A hopeless romantic you enjoy all the beauties of romance and want your love story to be like a fairytale.
Venus in Scorpio: Intense. Intense. Intense. The dark and mysterious qualities of Scorpio are strong in this placement since their actions are affecting their love interests. In relationships, you want all or nothing. You want someone to surrender to you and give you control. In return, you give your full attention and extreme loyalty. Consequently, you are jealous and possessive, although this can be flattering to some people. Secretive, you don’t give much away about yourself, but want to know every detail of your significant other. You can read your friends as plain as day because of how well you can pick up vibes of other people. Your strongest asset is that you are not afraid of change, in fact, you thrive on the transformation of change.
Venus in Sagittarius: Variety is the spice of life for you. You are always roaming, moving from one place to another, never really committing to anyone. Wherever you go you’re having a good time and searching for new experiences and knowledge. You’re fun to be around because of your free spirit, open-mindedness, and ability to entertain. You take pride in what you know and can be quite judgmental, but you’re very honest. You’re attracted to people of different cultures because you want to learn their different backgrounds and experiences. In love you just want someone who is going to partake in all your adventures and not ask too much of you since you value your freedom and independence.
Venus in Capricorn: Reserved and humble, you attract others by keeping to yourself. Those who are willing to get to know you will do so. Very goal oriented and smart, you hope that your friends are as hardworking as you. In relationships you want what is cautious and safe since you are willing to build a home and family with this person. Social class is important to you so you care about how much money you make and might marry into wealth if possible. Although you are guarded in public, you are able to get in tune with your emotions in private. You’re affectionate and can express your love in various ways. Creating partnerships comes natural to you and people will know you to be loyal and responsible.
Venus in Aquarius: No restrictions, no emotions, no fucks given. You basically do what you want and won’t settle for anything less. In love, however, you are committed and willing to compromise to your lover’s needs, only if they are worth it. But until then, if you are single, you are sufficient all on your own. You enjoy being eccentric and attract your crushes by making yourself stand out. Ahead of your time, you feel as though you have visionary thoughts. You are able to inspire others, although, at first they don’t understand you, but once they do, you’ve already moved on to the next thing. Your loved ones appreciate your oddities and quirks since this is what makes you special to them. Direct and honest you try to be as real as possible.
Venus in Pisces: The type of love you seek is one that is soft hearted, empathetic, and a bit sensitive. You are intuitive and able to pick up the mood of others so you’re very understanding of people’s emotions. You are attracted to those who need saving or you yourself want to be saved. Loud and abrasive people make you uncomfortable because you suffer too many moods to be dealing with insensitive people. Because of how empathetic you may be, friends or lovers may take advantage of you since you can be afraid to say no. Feelings of insecurity rise when you are not being loved the way you wish to be. Since you are able to love people so deeply you want the same in return. Three words that sum you up: compassionate, mystical, and wistful.

Broken Girl, Silly Boy
Being a well-loved woman should be one of the best things in the world. Notice I said loved, no desired, not wanted, but loved. It should make life pie, easy and sweet. That isn’t how it is though. Being a well-loved woman can really suck.
When you find yourself staring into the eyes of a man who loves you, who is crying because he loves you so much. You’re crying to, not because you love him back, but because you know that you don’t. You know that this amazing, beautiful man deserves someone wonderful, but he fell in love with you. You cry because you know you don’t love him, that you won’t ever love him, and you are so heartbroken that you are going to break this boy’s heart, because he was foolish enough to love you.
You tried to warn him, to make him see, but he didn’t listen. He said you were worth the struggle, worth the pain, worthy of love. You didn’t tell him then, but you knew that the pain and struggle wasn’t the problem. It was you. It was always you. You, the girl with the broken heart. Broken long before a man tried for your heart, born broken, perhaps beyond repair. Men never think that, though. They want to be the prince to save the broken princess, melt her frozen heart, give her all their love. They don’t realize that some princesses are too broken, too cold, and that she will break them as well.

Thinking back to the day you got drunk and screamed at me to kiss you, and I did, and it pissed us both off. Somehow I made you cry. but I still fucked your friend afterwards, could've been you. Maybe it should've been you. And absolutely nothing has been the same since. We've hung out sort of once or twice but I really need closure after all those years of back and forth bullshit and you don't talk to me anymore. 20 years gone I guess.

Magic Mountain Lodge This hotel is located in Huilo Huilo, a Natural Reserve in Chile. The rustic appearance ends with the exterior however, as the interiors are done up in luxury. There are only 9 rooms, named after bird species found in the area. Each of them overlooks the thick forest and wildlife outside. Guests even get a glimpse of a real-life volcano from the hotel. Hot tubs made out of huge tree trunks, overlooking the forest are a major tourist attraction at Magic Mountain, as is the world’s longest zip line running through the grounds.
