It’s in Sparta in the Persian trophy area by the big piles of carpets if you too want to go find it and gawk at it.

The parts that get to me emotionally the most in assassins creed odyssey are usually Alexios’ throwaway lines weirdly enough.
Spoiler alert but the Minotaur is in this one. You know, the Minotaur? Anyways after you defeat him Alexios says “I defeated the Minotaur! Mother would be so proud!”
And after everything you go through, everything you’re pointing towards even when you’re not, the things that are always at the back of your mind when you’re playing this game, that one hits. That one hits hard.
This is kind of why I love the stories of open world games. A lot of people think they’re usually bad but I don’t really agree. You’re like living it. You know? There’s stuff in the back of your mind. Realities about this virtual world. Conflicts ongoing. Anxieties unresolved. Everything you see reminds you of her etc etc.

The cat is big
For a creature his size.
He sleeps on the bed beside me and
I see the light
Through his ear
Turned dark orange by his fur and blood.
Beside my arm slowly he breathes
Above us the ceiling fan shakes.
Somehow this feels profound

Your mother is worried about you, Jackson. Or will be. I can tell. All you’ve been eating lately is white bread and futuristic Oreos. Yes young man we have Oreos in the early 21st century. They’re not nearly as grainy as the ones you eat though.
Psychically sending a very strong mind control wave into the future to give my great great great grand nephew an unexplained but intense craving for pistachios about three days after his 21st birthday. You should try pistachios, Jackson. We all think you need more protein on that vegan diet of yours.

By reacting in frustration to people wanting to keep this post alive you actively participate in its longevity
“If I had time travel I’d kill Hitler” “If I had time travel I’d stop my favourite politician getting assassinated” you’re all thinking way too small. If I had time travel I’d stop Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin from dying on the moon due to Soviet sabotage, kicking off the Great Nuclear War and devastating half of the planet.

I mean this kindly and gently but I don’t think you’re reading the room properly at the moment
It will get cold again eventually. The summer will not last forever. I’m not doomed to live in this unbearable heat for all eternity. <- said while gripping the countertop so hard that the tile is starting to crack

You could read the article I linked to.
The American consumer doesn’t actually want trucks and cars that are huge enough that you can’t see a six foot tall person over the hood. They make vehicles that big now to avoid environmental regulations related to engine efficiency

My parents ended up eventually buying a very large car even though they preferred smaller cars because all of the other cars were huge and they felt like they were gonna get run over in a small one.
Some companies don’t even sell small cars in the US anymore and a Prius is outside of a lot of people’s price range.
My dad is constantly talking about the lack of small trucks these days. There’s almost no good options. So if you need to tow or prefer a truck over a car or you’re scared of all the huge trucks on the road and want to be at the same level as them so they can see you, well, the cycle continues.

I nearly got heat stroke and almost fainted from the heat a couple of days ago so I don’t wanna hear about it right now.

If you’re wondering the size of assassins creed odyssey I’ve been playing for over 50 hours now and I don’t feel nearly done and there are entire huge regions of the map I haven’t even been to yet and I don’t feel bored yet and I think I’m not even halfway through the main story

Misthios might as well be your actual name in this game and not Alexios or Kassandra.
The longer you play assassins creed odyssey the more it dawns on you that most of the writing is done with the goal of trying not to use the main character’s name because then they’d have to record that line again with a different name

Spoilers but they also clearly called the main antagonist Deimos not because the cult wanted to replace his or her past identity as part of the brainwashing or whatever but because then they’d have to record every single line that refers to the main villain twice
