I'm returning to this blog!

I've been struggling a LOT with ADHD and autism lately; specifically executive dysfunction. It's all very new to me, but I've finally got the energy to continue this blog. I'm aware that others have the same idea and are running the same gimmick, but this brings me joy! So I'll continue it.

When it comes to describing your cats and drawing them, I will do that whenever I have the energy to. If I make some sort of criteria to do it, then I'll NEVER do it lol

I apologize for not posting for a while. Neurodivergent burnout hit me pretty hard, since I've had a lot more responsibilities to take care of lately. But I'm back, and I'm more hyperfixated on Warrior Cats than ever before! Sorry if it's taken me so long to get to all of your lovely kitties in the ask box, but I'm going to be working through those again!

Dirt/Dirtbean/Ryan Lewis -> Dockpelt

Dockpelt is often described by his clanmates as having 'one paw in starclan', due to the fact that he is 1) Usually spacing out, and 2) Due to this spacing out, he's come close to death way too many times. Half of the time, he doesn't even notice until he's told by a clanmate after the fact. His favorite task is to help the medicine cats gather herbs, since it doesn't require too much fast-paced thinking, and he enjoys the repetitive nature of the task. He simply gets to pick plants out of the ground, one after another, after another...

Defying his clanmate's initial impressions of him, he's quite good at coming up with practical solutions to clan problems. He's quite resourceful, in the way that he knows how to use nature's resources in a way to help the clan. Using dried mud to reinforce den walls, finding a way to weave together branches in a way that's most secure, etc. His favorite prey is shrews!

Orangewhisker is maybe not the brightest of warriors, but he gets the job done okay. He is surprisingly good at fighting. One of his favorite past-times is to help Tansylight gather herbs, even though he almost always gets the wrong ones. Tansylight seems to appreciate the help anyways. His favorite prey is gophers!

Tansylight is a social medicine cat, and likes to spend time around her clanmates more than anything. She always brings someone to help her herb gather, not because she needs the help, but because she'll explode if she isn't around others for as long as it takes to gather herbs. She'll often try to make small talk with her patients, which doesn't always go well, especially if their ailments are more serious... her favorite prey is mockingbirds!

This is my aunt's cat, Apis! She has 2 kittens here because this is the only photo I have of her lol.

I am Swedish and Apa is Monkey and the -is suffix is kinda like adding an y at the end of a word to make it cute (doggy, Foxy, Kitty)

She has had like a billion litters of kits and is like 13 years old. Very kind and sweet, an inside/outside cat but is also really cool. Once we found a claw in my dog (who hates cats) nose because she bothered Apis. She cuddled my hand even though I was like right by her kits, so very trusting to humans.

Apis -> Siltbrook

Role: Queen (permanent)

Siltbrook, while nowadays prickly with most cats, is gentle as a feather with the clan's kits. Although she may not show it most of the time, she trusts all of her clanmates as if they were her family. She chose to stay in the nursery permanently after she had her second litter, as she figured it would be a lot more convenient for her. She's old enough to be an elder, but refused to retire, even when the leader gently encouraged her to take even just a little break from watching over the clan's kits. She says that she would 'sooner stick her head in a badger's den' than retire. Her favorite prey is newts!

Lockwood (black) is my college ESA and has lots of travel experience on planes and trains. His favorite hobbies include going in corners to yell and trying to scare the dog he occasionally lives with

And then Apple Fritter/Ratchet (name depending on who you ask) is the barn cat I work with on a dairy farm. Her main motive is to stop whoever she meets in an attempt to give her more food but if you are patient with her she'll lay down and snuggle before going away to stare at the birds or cows

Lockwood -> Ebonysight

Ebonysight was a former loner, but joined the clan during leaf-bare due to scarcity of food. He used to live around a twoleg hive and receive food from the twolegs living there, along with hunting to fill the rest of his meals. Now he lives among the clan where, while he isn't exactly the most hard-working cat, he's willing to do what he has to in order to feed the clan that took him in. He only ever does what is required of him, patrol-wise. When he does hunt, though, he makes it look easy, and the prey that everyone carries back is almost always prey that he caught. His favorite prey is pigeons! (His favorite food is twoleg wet food, but he'll never admit it)

Apple Fritter/Ratchet -> Pumpkinstalk

Pumpkinstalk, also a former loner, is a calm, yet outgoing, warrior of her clan. She's often the center of attention in conversations, whether intentionally or unintentionally on her part. Either way, she enjoys the attention, and is good at charming other cats into doing small things for her, like swapping prey or doing one of her chores. Her expertise is in hunting ground prey, as she has had plenty of experience hunting mice, squirrels, and the like when she used to live in and around a twoleg barn. Pumpkinstalk states that she would 'rather die' than be caught in the middle of a battle, as fighting other cats definitely isn't her forte. Her favorite prey is squirrels!

Chervilkit(brindle)

Chervilkit was the first of their litter to start exploring, and now that their eyes are open, they take any chance they can get to explore the camp. Twice now they've been caught sneaking out of camp, despite the stern lecture they got for it the first time. His father wanted to name them Tumblekit because of how wobbly they were, to which their mother promptly cuffed him over the ear. Their favorite prey is shrew, although they haven't had many different types of prey yet.

Wow, I've been getting a lot of asks lately! I never could've expected this many, and I'm so so glad that you all appreciate my silly cat blog! However, I am only one person, and in order to answer every ask as I've been doing (name, rank, and short blurb for every cat shown) I can't rush asks. That would burn me out very quickly, and I want to put in as much thought and care possible for every kitty. I am going to be doing at least one ask a day, maybe more if I have the time. I'll be doing them in (mostly) chronological order, so the oldest asks will get priority. Again, I'm sorry if I don't get to yours as quickly as you might hope, and thank you for understanding!

Edit: I am not going to be able to name a cat every day. I will do my best, though!

This is Snowdrop, male (left). We describe him as "he'd touch the devil's butt" because he is so daring. He loves playing in water and wrestling with the other cats!

On the right is Tortie (female), who is a fierce mama bear over her kitten (not pictured). She is playful, cuddly, and one of the most affectionate cats I've ever had!

Maplemask is known among the clan for his cocky and competitive nature. He was a quick learner as an apprentice, and often sparred with his clanmates whenever he gets the chance, a habit that continues even now that he's received his warrior name. His overconfidence often causes him to underestimate an enemy or a catch, as he has an 'attack first, ask questions later' mentality. Thankfully, as a warrior, he's learned to dial it back and assess the situation before running in. Most of the time, anyways... His favorite prey is rabbits!

Tortie -> Sapmottle

Sapmottle is regarded as one of the most helpful members of the clan. While she's now busy looking after her single kitten, she's usually the first one to volunteer for border patrols if they need extra members. She enjoys spending time with her clanmates, and often goes an extra mouse-length to show that she cares, whether it be by taking on others' small chores, or giving them gifts. Don't be fooled by her sweet exterior, though. If you prove yourself to be even the slightest threat to her dear Finchkit, you might lose an ear. Her favorite prey is swallows!

Fennelrunner, a former loner, began her training as a warrior, but quickly switched to training as a mediator when the leader recognized her expertise in delivering messages to other clans quickly and concisely. She's known for her fast running and calming aura. Her favorite prey is sparrows!

Stoatheart, named for his compassion, is one of the most popular cats in the clan due to his friendly and outgoing nature. He prefers to always be around others, although most cats describe him as "odd." His expertise is in fighting, surprisingly enough, as his agility and fast reaction time makes him a formidable opponent, even against the toughest of warriors. His favorite prey is pheasants!

This is Goose aka Goop or Goober

I've been stumped on his warrior name for a bit

He's got big Boba eyes, loves to open doors/anything on a hinge, and is incapable of jumping down quietly

Goose (Goop, Goober) -> Goosefoot

Goosefoot isn't the stealthiest warrior, and opts to utilize his speed over stealth during hunting. His denmates often say that he is "loud as a goose". Despite this, he is quite good at hunting, and often brings back the most prey on patrols. His favorite prey is ducks, although he rarely gets to eat them.

Blackstream initially trained as a warrior, and was named after her expertise in swimming. After a few moons of being a warrior, though, she found that her heart lay on the path of a medicine cat, especially considering that the clan's medicine cat was getting too old for the job, and didn't have an apprentice. Her favorite prey is minnows!
