Lots gets stolen by tourists, but the vast, VAST majority (like 80%) is stolen for construction and tourism. Construction is obvious, but other countries need to replenished their own tourist drawing beaches and will steal sand from other tourist locations. And people make stupid money out of it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I do not care if someone is doing form for charity for selfish reasons, because the charitable act is still happening.

Take Mr Beast for example. Do I think there is a chance he does his charity stuff for likes and views? Probably. But I do not care because he helped 1000 people see again, built a hundreds wells in Africa and built a food pantry. That's thousands of people helped when no one else would.

And considering the number of churches and other religious organisations who have used their own charities for dodgy reasons, I don't see much of any problem with Beast helping out.

there's a jewish story about a rich man who goes to his rabbi to ask him about building an orphanage, and the rabbi is like "yeah duh go for it!!" and then later the rich guy comes back and is like "actually I've decided not to... I was just doing it for my own image and not coz I cared about orphans" and the rabbi was like "bitch the orphans don't care why you're building the orphanage!!!" and sometimes I wish I could say that to lefties who haven't unpacked their christian upbringing. sometimes motives don't matter!! who give a fuck why a politician wants to do a good thing? bitch the orphans don't!!

My cat Stink used to try and lick the kitchen floors after we bleached. She did not like being locked out of the clean kitchen until it was safe. Even then she still tried rolling on it.
