When did you leave Italy ?

"6 years ago. I was only meant to stay for a few months but then la pandemia happened and I got comfortable here," he explains. "I visit home a lot — Mamma still lives there and she hates flying."

So what do you do for a living?

"I'm a uhh.. what's the word?"

Frank leans back in his chair, leg bouncing as he thinks for a solid minute or so. And another few seconds. Eventually, he just sighs, leaning forward in his chair once more, elbows on his thighs as he gestures vaguely with his hands — a sort of cutting/sawing motion.

"I chop up the animals," he explains, seeming rather defeated as he realises he genuinely has no idea what the English word for his job title is.

Pinching your cheeks

He leans into the touch with a quiet hum.

"Don't stretch them too far, sweetheart," he warns with a smile, clearly joking.

Are you single?

Frank can't help but chuckle at the question, ever the jovial man. He does find the question to be rather blunt though, not that he's complaining.

"Forward. That's good," he says with a slight grin. "Yeah, I'm single. Why d'you ask?"

Favourite pasta?

Frank genuinely has such a hard time answering this question, each passing second where he mumbles under his breath trying to pick a favourite, his face starts to take on a look of distress.

"Do I have to choose? Really?" Yes he does. "Pastina, I guess, but I love fusili. Oh, and penne is really good–" He goes on about different pastas for a solid 5 minutes or so. Why does he know so much about pasta?
