Difference In Accents
We all speak English differently. Even if in the same dialect with the same words, and word structure we all probably do not sound the same when we speak. This could be due to genetics and biological difference, but also parents play a role as well in raising us with different environment of sounds, accents, cultures, and languages around us. For example, since native Japanese speakers do not have the “I” sound like in English they have to replace it with “r” sounds. Often times many people speak differently due to pidgin languages, which are languages and dialects formed in big ports around the world where languages and culture got mixed around from communication needs of commerce and trade. This is most notable in the United States in South Louisiana with creole and cajun. Boston has had a lot of Irish settlers and influence so their English sounds different as well. The sounds of how people speak English lead us to associate and stereotype those accents with other well known previously perceived ideas. The world is quite diverse even in English speaking countries, and at the end of the day where we are is going to be overshadowed by who we speak with and hang out with mostly. This association will continue to play a large role in how we speak regardless with the regional or national accent that surrounds us.

North Florida vs South
As we say in Florida, the more north you go the more south it is. North Florida is culturally closer to the deep South while south Florida is more diverse especially with Hispanic/Latino communities and many New Yorkers that result in a different accent and slang words
