Angel immediately froze, hands going up. “I didn’t do anything this time, jeez.” Turning around to see Kim, the blonde dropped her hands. “Oh, you weren’t talking to me were you?”

Kim was still mad at herself for losing a potential lead so she wasn't paying attention to anything else for the moment. Only after she had sent a quick text that she was fully aware of her surroundings and she wasn't alone, she took a quick breath before speaking in a slighter calmer tone, "No, I wasn't talking to you but now I have to wonder why you thought I was." She walked closer to the other woman, "Have you done something lately that you'd be in trouble for?"

“You’re telling me.” Lucy mused with lighthearted giggle. “I was only planning on ordering for myself originally. No, no, no! I insist, really it’s no trouble.” Facing the barista she reached into her wallet and handed him and extra ten dollars. “Sorry, but could you add a Latte to my order, with an extra shot please?” Facing the redhead again she smiled brightly. “Your coffee is on its way.”

"You really didn't have to do that but thank you." Kim smiled at the brunette, "I'm Kim," she put out her hand incase the other woman wanted to shake it but there was no obligation to do so. "What job has the amount of staff for these coffees?" She was slightly curious but that was in her nature to be so.

“Well you know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe you’ll love it more if you took an itty bitty break?” She mused with an eyebrow wiggle. “Okay great! Come on come on!” 

"I will always love my job. It's always something different and even if I took a break or not, I'd still love it." Kim laughed slightly, "I'm following your lead, plus you're lucky I love watching the waves crash. That is one view I will never get enough of."

"You're fine. It's going to take a lot more to startle me." Kim smiled at the other person, "Plus I think it's nice, not a lot of people would bring others up so don't stop being you. For anyone."

Nova nearly fell face forward and onto Kim before straightening herself up and grinning. “Yes, this important mission is grabbing caffeine—and maybe some boba. Either way, the day awaits us!” 

Kim linked her arm in Nova's as they started to walk, "Now that's it established we're getting caffeine and boba, what's the important mission?"

“Oh! Jingles! Of course!” Trixie giggled. “I just wanted to ask you about the recent case you were on because I remembered it was pretty hard on you and all that, y’know catch up, see how you’re doing?” 

"Oh, yeah." Kim remembered that case, it involved kids and this is why she tended to avoid cases involving kids if she could. "I'm fine now, I think it hit home for some reason and I just couldn't get it out my head."

Kim looked to the source of the voice and smiled at them, “Thank you.” She didn’t really know what else to say, she often felt uncomfortable when someone gave her a compliment but she was working on being more comfortable with that kind of attention. “You’re very kind to say that.”

“You know what, who cares what they think, you know? I personally think you’re the bee’s knees and whoever tells you otherwise is well, a hater,” Haneul said to no one in particular. “Well, some of them are haters, others are just trying to navigate on loving themselves but refuse to grow or look within, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s Friday, treat yourself to something nice!” He piped up with a bright smile.

“Stop right there!” Kim shouted at someone in the distance who was doing their best to avoid her, “God damn it!” She groaned loudly, not caring who saw her because she had just lost a potiential lead in a case.

“Kim, you know maybe you should step outside the box a little, take a day off! You spend so much time solving cases!” Arielle pouted. “Why don’t you take a walk with me to the beach?” 

“I know but I love it!” Kim knew she needed to take more time off and she would eventually so maybe this once she could put off her cases for the moment. “You know what, I think I will so let’s go before I change my mind.”

Kim wasn’t paying much attention, just waiting in line to get her usual coffee and pastry when the woman in front turned round to speak to her, “It’s fine,” she waved her off. “Looks like you have a big order to pay for already and the waiting is just going to give me an excuse to get an extra shot in my coffee.”

Coffee was what would motivate her, or at least she hoped it would.​ However going on a coffee run meant everyone at the office wanted one too. With a large order she knew the customers in line wouldn’t be too happy. Turning to look behind her she offered a sorrowful expression. “I’m so sorry for the wait! I can pay for you order in exchange for the time you had to wait.”

"Well, I guess I am but I've got so much to do for work so I don't know if I'll get much of a break."

“Who is excited for break?!? I know I am I could use a chance to relax and just breathe” She said

Arielle smiled sheepishly at the other redhead, realizing she was being just a tad obnoxious about the spring break ordeal–or–maybe not. “The beach!” She smiled excitedly. “I need to catch some sun’s rays and just sprawl out on the sand, it’s been soooo long! What about you? Any fun plans over the weekend?!” 

Kim missed that excitement the other redhead was displaying so she could understand how much Spring Break meant to people. “Sounds fun.” She nodded, “Work. I’ve got a few cases to look through and see what I can do to help. I might take some time to go to the beach and chill.”

“Hey Trixie!” Kim waved at her before smiling at her as she came over, “Of course. Is everything okay?”

“Hey! KP!” Trixie waved down the redhead from across the way, practically leaping over to her. “Hey, sorry, I whew, can I ask you a quick question?”

“I’m coming,” she shouted at the door before grabbing her coat and opening the door, “Now, I hope this important mission involves getting coffee because I am in desperate need of some caffiene.” 

“Kim Possible, I’m summoning you for an important mission!” Nova practically screeched outside of Kim’s door, her face pressed up against the door in an obnoxious manner.
