The last room mates I ever had did this. They had two cats they barely took care of already and got another one without telling me. It was the worst.

Not everything is a personal attack against you. Your friend may not be ignoring you on purpose but may be feeling drained. Someone isn’t always being short with you because they’re angry at you but may be trying to hold their own emotions together. Please don’t always assume malicious intent.
