A blog I made on a whim but basically where I can write WWE's storylines better than them. This is a call out blog to the RAW writers. Yes, it will be women's wrestling centirc.

Tbh it says a lot about The Miz being a 7 time IC title holder.
Probably because he’s the only one who has made it look like more than a mid-card title.

Lana vs Naomi: Why I’m scared.
So once again, Smackdown proves to be the A show by giving the women the opening segment that took up 1/4 of the show and made it feel important and the fans wanting more. Smackdown does this thing that I haven’t felt with wrestling in a long time. For once, I am actually excited and look forward to the next week after every show. I am excited to watch Talking Smack. With RAW, once the show ends, it ends and I carry on but that’s not what this post is about. I’m going to talk about the debut of Lana(lina) and why I’m scared for Money In The Bank.
Money In The Bank looks to be one of the best PPVs this year will have so far for either brands with bringing in the Women’s first ever ladder match for the ppv. But because of that happening, it left our fantastic champ out and dry without a match. So what else could WWE do? Pull the trigger on Lana and give Naomi her match like she deserved. It sounds simple right and there’s no way in hell Lana could win that match. Right?
Well after the crowd’s reaction to her debut, I’m scared. There were actual chants for Lana. Like chants as if she were our favorite lass kicker, Becky Lynch. Now this tends to be a hit or miss for the WWE but on occasion, the WWE does look at what the fans want and the last crowd was really hot for Lana. So does that mean Lana would be winning her debut singles match against Naomi? A girl whose last main roster match she had was over a year ago and it was a tag match that she was in for a whole of three minutes before staying on the side for the rest of it. I’d like to think not but there is one way I could see WWE playing it out.
Now imagine if one of Welcoming Committee members win (I have my money on Carmella). If the women’s ladder match takes place before Lana vs Naomi and one of them wins, I could see them coming out to “help” Lana. I say “help” because lets be real, the only reason they would help her win is because they would see her as less of a challenge than Naomi. Naomi is one of the most athletic women either roster and can put a real fight as she has in the past when she’s gone toe to toe with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte. Lana? Even from her NXT shows, there isn’t a whole lot of threat. So the only way I can see the Welcoming Committee getting involved is because they want to make sure they get that title around their waist when it’s time to cash in their contract, making Lana the first ever “Russian” WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion with the shortest reign in history.
There’s just no way Lana could beat Naomi clean. This isn’t Alicia vs Sasha. Alicia has credibility. Sure she’s been booked like shit in the past couple of years but so has Natalya and Tamina and right now those girls are legitimate threats in the division. All three of those girls have some sort credit behind them whether it’s titles or time in the business as a wrestler. Lana has neither.
So going into the next few weeks, I’m curious how Smackdown is going to push this feud a long and make Lana look like a threat. I’m sure some local talent will be called because I doubt they’d feed any of the girls going into the history making ladder match to Lana unless it’s Ellsworth.
It’ll be interesting and I just hope Smackdown doesn’t let us down by ending Naomi’s second title run in such a sad sad sad sad way.

Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss: What year is it?
So tonight like most nights for the RAW women’s division, some things made sense and then other things didn’t.
So let’s discuss the obvious first. Bayley’s absence. It made sense for how WWE was angling things. Obviously WWE wants to recycle the Rise Of Bayley storyline on the main roster. The problem with that storyline is that when it was done in NXT, the climax was when Bayley won the NXT championship and had risen. Now Bayley is a former RAW Women’s Champion and the rise of Bayley on the main roster has yet to begin. As well as the fact that she won her championship and retained it with the help of someone else doesn’t exactly help her character build. I suppose Wresltemania could have been Bayley’s “rise” but anything that happened at Wrestlemania, besides the Hardy’s returns, is practically irrelevant at this point. If WWE was smart and that’s a big if, they’d keep Bayley off of TV for a little bit if they really wanted to pull through with the Rise Of Bayley revamp and give some legit feeling that Bayley’s spirit has been crushed by Alexa. Then again, that should have happened when Bayley lost the title in her hometown but that’s another issue.
The point is Bayley being off TV tonight is good and she should be off TV until after Summerslam but I could go on for days about that.
So the good about tonight: continuity. WWE actually remembered that Alexa Bliss promised Nia a match once she was done with Bayley. Props to them. Now people are confused why Alexa and Nia are already going to feud but here is the thing, they were never officially a team. This wasn’t like Mickie and Alexa where off screen she Alexa promised Mickie a title match if she helped Alexa keep the title. Nia said Alexa had a friend until she was done with Bayley. She never promised to help Alexa or be her ringside partner like Mickie did. Her promise mostly extended to not beating the crap out of her before her match with Bayley. Also I love how Kurt Angle acknowledged how crappy the this is your life segment was last week. Props to them on that as well.
Now the bad: nothing makes sense anymore. Mickie and Dana’s alignment is more confusing than ever now. So they were at ringside to keep Alexa in check during her match? That made literally no sense because Nia is more than able to make sure Alexa would stay in her place all by herself. This isn’t 2012 where Eve would make sure Kelly Kelly would be getting a fair shot against Maryse. Nia is a freaking monster and she shouldn’t need help from two faces in the first place but I understood Alexa’s game plan. It reminded me a lot of how AJ Lee got Aksana, Alicia and Layla on her side during the Total Divas vs True Divas feud except it didn’t work out like she hoped......or did it? Either way it seemed that Alexa wanted those two out there whether they were on her side or not. If this was 2012 I’d be expecting there to be an announcement for a lumberjill match for Great Balls of Fire. Also while, I hate bringing this up as it’s literally the biggest fuck up the WWE did in the last year, why did Nia get disqualified after Alexa got hit by Dana AFTER Alexa hit Mickie and Dana first BUT when Sasha came out to help Bayley, Charlotte got into with Sasha but Bayley didn’t get disqualified? If WWE is going to put rules into a match, then use the rules EVERY TIME. Don’t pick and choose the details of what qualifies as a DQ for each match.
The RAW writers have absolutely no clue what they’re doing. They’ve killed off the main babyface of the division, have two girls floating between the lines of heel and face and they’re already going to pull the trigger on the Nia vs Alexa feud because they want to hold off on Sasha until SummerSlam.
What WWE should have done hold off on Nia’s title shot for much longer and instead give us the Alexa vs Mickie feud that should have happened on Smackdown. Alexa could have convinced Kurt that Nia should have to earn her opportunity like everyone else and not just go off a promise. There could have been some sort of #1 contenders match where Mickie gets the upset victory by pinning Sasha or Dana, screwing Nia out of her title match. Then we’d have an angry monster and the fans would want to see Alexa get her butt kicked by Nia even more. Also Mickie would finally get something on the RAW roster like she deserves. It’s honestly really sad how she’s being treated on there. Send her back to Smackdown and just put Lana on RAW with dancing gimmick. Make everyone happy. Then we could have a pretty good triple threat set up for Summerslam. Nia and Sasha have their history and Alexa would have no where to run.
If Emma is cleared by then, Bayley and her could have their own feud happening where Emma wants her spot and is going to shove Bayley to the back of line after losing her title rematch. An NXT feud that I actually really loved.
The red brand has a lot of talented women on their roster and as much I hate saying things like this, their best story they’ve done so far since the superstar shake up was having Charlotte lose to Nia and then sending her off to Smackdown. The RAW writers don’t know how to write these personalities together when it’s all a simple formula of PAYING ATTENTION and knowing the girl’s characters.
But I’m just a fan. An incredibly tired fan.
