one of my favourite things that happened today at valiant con was getting to talk to wendy padbury about autistic zoe!! So I asked a question in the panel about if you were playing your character now in the modern era as opposed to back in the 60s is there anything you would change about your portrayal or highlight more, which was basically the best way I could think of phrasing it without outright being like “do you think zoe was autistic” cos that would’ve possibly been too much and also her initial comment a few weeks ago could’ve just been a random one off thing so I didn’t want to make it awkward. But then she immediately starts talking about how she realised that zoe has a lot of neurodivergent traits and that she reminds her of autistic people that she knows. I did get to tell her afterward as well that I relate to zoe as an autistic person which was cool

ideally every dr who companion should have at least 1 short story that makes you go 'hey what the fuck'
#if no one's said yet#the bear story is That Which Went Away by Mark Wright in Seven Deadly Sins#also Face-Painter for Jamie and Victoria where they lose their faces and have to get them tattooed back on

i think part of the reason why i like using she/her pronouns for the second doctor specifically is because i think it's funny to imagine that she likes trying on different pronouns in the same way she likes wearing funny hats
#YES#also prev:#she lands on a planet with a variety of xenopronouns#points to a set and says 'i should like a pronoun like that'#lmao yes

Favorite Doctor Who episodes: the Second Doctor → The Mind Robber
If we move outside the Tardis, we step into a dimension about which we know nothing. We should be at the mercy of the forces outside time and space as we know it.
