ATTN: NOISEY/VICE
Please kindly fuck off and get your greasy disgusting hands out of our community and punk scene. Noisey, Vice, Riot Fest, Scion and the like can all go to hell and die.
Over the last 40 years punks have created a literal world wide network of people, bands, promoters, zinesters, moshers, documentarians, show spaces, and communites that are self sustaining. We have always done it on our own, our own way. Exactly how we want. Weve never needed help from the outside world and we don’t need it now. The last thing we need is a greedy lazy corporation latching onto ours backs like a filty blood sucking leech trying to make a quick buck off the sweat and tears of punks the world over.
If anyone from Noisey ever approaches you for an interview jam the blade of a knife into their throat and tell them to scram. Start zines. Start blogs. Bring your camera to a show and make a photo zine. Bring your camcorder to a show and start a youtube channel. Document punk at a quantity that Vice could never keep up with and with quality that Nosiey couldn’t ever match. Run those pigs outta town. We don’t need them or want them anywhere near us. At least I don’t

Nagrobki - Rabacja
Again recommending a new Nagrobki album. This song makes me want to set a car on fire, which was the effect they were going for I’d assume
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galician_slaughter
“The song tells (edit: in a metaphore of dance) about events that happened in southern Poland in 1846 (part of Austria then), when the biggest peasant uprising (rabacja) in Polish history took place. Peasants under leadership of Jakób Szela took revenge on nobility for feudal serfdom comparable to slavery. In result, at least thousand of noblemen were killed, what strongly influenced culture and further history.“ - JeT. Wro, Youtube user
