Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation

#i'm in my 30s and still struggle with it off the cuff#i know it in theory#and understand that things happen at certain hand shapes#but i can totally understand why a lot of kids would be all '???????' over it#the solution isn't to get rid of them it's to help them learn#bc there's still analogue clocks everywhere and it's a useful skill to know#also it means you can hear stuff like 'man in a dinosaur suit at 4 o'clock' and know where to look#no one wants to miss out on dino antics

palestinian sunbird!
hey guys! so, evidently i've been gone for a while. it was kind of a bad time for me to start this account. a bunch of shit happened and everything sucked and it made me get art block 💔 oops. but now what's going on is too important to just sit there and have art block about. i'm using my, albiet small, platform to spread the palestinian cause during this global strike week called on by bisan. the palestinian sunbird is a symbol of freedom for the palestinian people. it flies across borders and checkpoints in defiance of israeli occupation. i hope that someday soon the palestinian people can be as free as their national bird ❤️🖤🤍💚
