Problem with being Umineko brained is that plausible red text is starting to show up in my dreams.

"Battler got on the boat yesterday"

So now I have to be careful about remembering which red text is real.

The game is over. Battler is gone. Beato's having a good cry. Bern has left pursued by Lambda. Everything's fallen apart, and I've just hit the daily image upload limit. I guess this is a pretty good time to call it a night. See you all on wednesday.

On the one hand, obviously he's a little distracted with the revelation that Asumu isn't his mom.

But on the other hand. She's not even blood-related to Kinzo. Surely the question should be whether Rudolf is his dad.

But this man said "Six years ago no person called Beatrice existed for me"

So I would think it was something the real Battler did.

but earlier Beato said

"The sin I am now demanding you remember is not between Ushiromiya Battler and Beatrice"

"Because of your sin people die"

"Due to your sin, a great many people die"

So not only does this man have a sin he forgot about, but

"Ushiromiya Battler has a sin"

the real Battler ALSO did something?

It seems the real Battler may only be guilty of something relatively minor.

But this man caused a bunch of deaths....

Though if we're getting into the weeds about being born, maybe we should define what exactly it means to "be a son" that could mean anything from "popped out of her womb" to "was raised by her and she loved and supported him"
