New Beginnings

Hello, and welcome!

I have been wanting to do this thing for a while - a blog all about my little family and I. 

There are so many places I could begin, but first, I suppose if I want to get to know all of you, it would only be right of me to introduce myself first.

My name is Ramona Whilde. I am currently twenty-three years of age and reside peacefully in the belly of Byron Bay in Australia (No, we do not have Aussie accents, we moved from Texas...and yes, it took forever!) with my lovely husband, Mark, our dog, Hot dog (kudos to my six-year-old for the suitable name) and our little (and only) child, Aiden.

Mark typically will not be featured in most of these posts, as he’s usually behind the camera! Having a photographer as a husband really pays off!

Above is a picture of my six-year-old, Aiden Bentley Hunt-Whilde. Wondering why the two last names? Mark officially adopted him on his sixth, and my twenty-third, birthday (February 8th). His father was my high school sweetheart, who we won’t talk about as I don’t want to include negativity into this post!

But on to the title of this post! My blog (wherethewhildeonesroam) was inspired when I felt the sudden urge to really start doing the “capturing” of memories I had been wanting to do for so long...I needed to stop wishing and just do. Of all times, I, of course, had to pick the time frame in which we were moving from our two story home to a bigger, better home; we really wanted the opportunity to grow our family, and with the beauty of our new home on the market, we couldn’t refuse!
