(First I do want to say that I will do the dating simulator, my executives are just not functioning right now, but I will do it by this weekend!)
The sun rises on potentially the last day in the arena. How are the tributes faring?
Another death from hypothermia! And River being brutal and killing the person who spared her life. With two tributes left, this night could be it!

With seven tributes left, the audience is watching with baited breath as the sun rises.
An interesting turn of events since Valley is not human. Other than that, the tributes seem keen to work together for the day.

The sun rises on a new day! With less than ten tributes left, the remaining tributes must all be getting tense.
The tributes are too nervous to attack today, just trying to survive. Some of them even work together! How long will that last?

WHG Dating Simulator!
Now, this is something new I've made, and I came up with all my own events, so things are limited, but it's certainly a lot of fun, lol. If you have any ideas of additional events after this is done, please let me know! I'm thinking that I'll post these every day with no commentary, since my WHG commentary is a little lackluster this time anyway.
Some information about what I made: there are polyamory options, and if you'd prefer for me to get rid of those, please let me know! Also, this simulation will not take into account anyone's sexuality, so these characters can get with any of the other characters.

After that quiet night, we can't wait to see what the tributes get up to today! And it seems that a Feast has been set up for them!
Ooh, and both Conor and Din die in an explosive way! Eshani seems to be the big winner of the Feast, and it's curious why Valley would want raw meat to begin with. Let's see how the rest of the day goes.
And Gabe gets overpowered and killed! Valley tries to get revenge for the raw meat, but Sohelia Yazdani escapes, and everyone else chills.

After that harrowing day yesterday, maybe today will be better?

After such a quiet day, the sun rises red this morning. What bloodshed will happen today?
Oof. RJ Johnson helping someone out the permanent way. Multiple people getting lost in the maze and only some of them getting help. And the glorious pun of River discovering a river.
The Master of Ceremonies is greatly questioning the morality of the Games from this death.

And with that death, there are 20 tributes left! Otherwise, this is a pretty relaxing day, just with a few chases. We'll see if Gabe decides to retaliate like he did yesterday.

And oof, it's a big one. Gabe decides to not retaliate, but to instead fight someone else and then show mercy. Which is unfortunate for Emerald because she is forced to kill or be killed, and she chooses the latter. Noble until the end.

WHG 22 Day 3
The sun rises on a new day, and the tributes wake up to new possibilities.
And oof, three deaths in one day! Eric Sterling and Conor both become killers with this addition, and Caras should have been looking for the plentiful sources of water instead of fighting Chess and finding a cave. Tsk.
The sky lights up with the names of the fallen tributes as we take a moment to honor them.
And two more killings tonight! This is an exciting day! Gabe takes his revenge on Vyxis attacking him during the day by killing him that night, and Dr. Athena Stonehedge gets her own name on the kill count board. But otherwise, a pretty peaceful night. Only a few tributes struggling, most of them doing well.

WHG 22 Day 2
Apologies for the later post, the Master of Ceremony's brain is fighting against them in their own Hunger Games, lol. But the Games must go on! Let's see what our plucky tributes are up to today!
And in the midst of all this peacefulness, Kashi refuses and makes the first actual murder of the Games! Syn seems to be the only person not looking for a River at this time, and Trevor searches for fuel to one of his weaknesses. An eventful day!
Pause to honor the fallen...
It seems it is not just the Master of Ceremonies who is battling mental demons. No action, but a lot of screaming and crying. What a wonderful night!

WHG 22 Day 1
It is time. The podiums rise, and the tributes look around upon a clearing in a maze with the cornucopia in the center. There are no trees, and in the distance, there's a rustling of the walls of the maze (which are bushes) moving and changing. The tributes stare at each other as the countdown sounds, and once it hits zero, everyone runs...
...And almost all of them run away. No blood in this bloodbath, but there is plenty of time for the rest of the day!
So, either Sohelia Yazdani has passed the trident around to multiple other tributes, or there are just a lot of tridents near rivers. And there still hasn't been any blood, as Lyra dies from hypothermia! Must be very cold in that arena. And it's just going to get chillier as night sets in.
But first, we must honor the fallen.
May the next world you go to be warmer.
And yes, lots of fires and Mav goes down to the cold as well! An interesting first day, and we shall see where it goes from here!

It is finally time. The 29 tributes are waiting expectantly for the start of the Games. Will they find a way to escape, die in the arena, or become the Victor? Only time will tell, teehee.

WHG 22 Initial Reaping

WHG 22 Only the Good Die and Stay Dead Part 1
Content warning for murder and death. Prompt 1 of the WHG! These will be Chess's WHG stuff, and I probably won't write any of Vyxis's due to motivation issues. Some notes for this one: Fate uses it/its pronouns, and I won't be writing the Reaping because I don't think it has anything super interesting in it.

I woke up choking on dirt. What the hell had Ashont done after he had knocked me out? I tried to cough, but more dirt just made its way into my mouth, and I scrabbled desperately at the dirt above me, trying to escape.
When I finally broke through into the sunshine, I wiped the dirt out of my eyes and looked around blearily. I was still in District 1, and I had been placed��in an unmarked grave. My breath hitched, and I looked for the wound from where he had stabbed me, but it was just a scar on my stomach. My clothes were still torn.
I closed my eyes, trying to remember. The Peacekeepers had captured me after putting a muzzle that neutralized magic on me, and they had brought me to Ashont. Ever since…he had kept me as his plaything four years ago and I had escaped, he had wanted me back. But I fought still and scratched his face, and he had gotten pissed and stabbed me. Again and again. And…
It was blank. What had happened after that? How had I healed from that so quickly?
Before I could confuse myself too much, someone walked up to my grave. It had long, black hair, glowing yellow eyes, and ashen gray skin. Its arms were too long proportionally, and its fingers ended in claws. One of its hands played with a string as it stared at me.
I bared my teeth. “Who the fuck are you?”
Even its voice sounded more like a hiss. “You are an anomaly that needs to be removed from this world.”
I flipped it off and tried to scramble up and run away, but it darted forward and grabbed me by the hair, lifting me up too easily as I grunted in pain. My feet left the ground, and I tried to kick at it, but the kicks were too weak to do much without any leverage.
It laughed, a menacing sound. “I am Fate, and you have lived on borrowed time for too long.”
The world seemed to warp around us, and next I knew, I was in a Capitol building, with something pushing at my memory but just out of reach. It walked with me still suspended by my hair, but before we got very far, someone else walked up.
He had the air of a pompous asshole as he looked down his nose at Fate (a feat for how tall it was). “You cannot take her. She has been volunteered for the Hunger Games.”
It hissed and glared at him. “How? No one should know that she was going to revive.”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. But apparently, Ashont had submitted her for the Games, and since she is back alive, she is required to go to District 12 to get Reaped.” He gestured for Fate to give me to him.
Fate hissed. “You know I will have her back after these foolish Games are over, right? I don’t know why this matters. She will be dead.”
He just scoffed and gestured again, and Fate dropped me. For some reason, my legs felt weak, and I almost fell to the floor, but the asshole rushed forward and caught me. He helped me stand but kept a supporting hand held onto my arm.
I growled and tried to pull free, but he held too tightly and my legs were shaking. “Get the fuck away from me.”
He scoffed and started walking, tugging me along enough that I almost fell again. “You will be going to the Games. I will make sure you get to District 12 safely.”
I bared my teeth. I was not going to that death trap! “I won’t be, you dumbass!” Smoke escaped my lips, and I allowed the fire to dance along my skin, to burn him, but when it touched his skin, it seemed to be sucked in and disappeared. I paused and stared, almost falling again.
He glanced over at me with a slight smirk. “What were you saying before?”
I flipped him off, and he pulled me forward with a chuckle, to the damn train where he watched me the whole time until we got to District 12. I just glared back at him.
When the train stopped, he grabbed me by the arm again and pulled me up. Peacekeepers stormed in, and one of them shoved a muzzle on my face and tied it too tightly, and I felt my magic go away. I growled and tried to fight, but they held me too tightly as they started pulling me out. But before they could get very far, the man snapped his fingers, and they stopped, turning me back to him.
He bowed his head. “My name is Vyxis. You died from the wounds Ashont gave you, but you have returned. I expect you will give the Capitol quite a show. And I will be watching with interest.” He smirked.
I just bared my teeth. “Fuck you. I won’t do shit for you.”
“As I said, a good show.” And with that, the Peacekeepers dragged me out to seal my fate.
