Quite honestly the insistence that the fetishisation of structurally enforced & as such immediately familiar violence (such as familial abuse) is more deplorable than that of 'foreign' violence such as (medical) gore, cannibalism and other similar exploitation strikes me as unambiguously sheltered and western.
