You’ll find it under the cut! As always, these are just my thoughts and ideas, please feel free to take them with a grain of salt.

Rating: Seven crowns out of Ten

Your url is easy enough to remember and leads me to believe this is some sort of spring break-ish, maybe summer break, SoCal Beach themed rp. But a high school/town hybrid centered around a little blue pill project? Not on my radar. Reading over the plot, I feel like you spent two paragraphs repetitively saying the town is nice and then randomly dropped in that there’s an odd experiment going on. It didn’t flow very well, but the idea in itself is pretty unique. The navigation is straight forward, but I feel like you’re asking for a lot in the application. By that I mean: why have people write all this information if it’s not going to be displayed anywhere? I understand that it’s a character building exercise, but unless you’re posting full bios for these OCs people are making, you might find people a little less inclined to apply just because they might feel like they’re wasting their time. Now, I LOVE development and I love well thought out characters and I love that you’re making people think, but I also like to see my bio on the main blog, not a little sentence blurb on a masterlist of characters. Your theme is nice and I like that you have the tasks and the events in the navigation: it gives people who are looking the idea that there will be lots to do around here, because at it’s core this is a town rp and town rps can get very quiet very quickly. I feel very encouraged seeing those links.

Overall, I think you’ve got a decent rp here. It doesn’t yank me in, but my interest is a little piqued. I can’t say much outside of that because this seems like an rp that’s completely dependent on it’s players: You’ve set the scene and now it’s up to the people you accept to make it last. Hopefully your application will weed out the ones who don’t give a damn about plot and development.

I know how you feel, nonnie. I usually have this same problem with appless rps. I would recommend, of course, viewpointrpg which I am in.  EDIT: Viewpoint just closed because Taylor couldn't run the rp by herself apparently I would also suggest cimarronrp and mtvwitchesrp. I just recently reviewed those last two and they look fantastic.

Well that’s utterly terrifying. But you’ll find your opinion under the cut! Hope you like it, but if you don’t, remember it’s just a compilation of my thoughts and you’re welcome to take it with a grain of salt.

Rating: Four and Half crowns out of Ten

I don’t understand the url at all and the icon really isn’t helping me figure it out either. Honestly, if I saw it in the tags, I wouldn’t know what to think. And the url might be a little tough for people to remember. But I know urls can be hard to come up with sometimes, so don’t really sweat it. Just things to keep in mind. Your theme doesn’t suit the rp at all. I’d consider looking for a theme that’s less confined (as in, having all the posts in that very confined box and leaving the rest of the page as nothing but blank space) and a little more organized, and maybe a little grungy. If this is an rp that revolves around most of the population being wiped out, the theme should be more dirty and dark. What your using just does not fit, even if the colors work with what you’re going for. I feel like I’m looking at an RPH or a personal blog. I also don’t understand what’s going on in your sidebar graphic.

I happened to glance at your sidebar description and I just…I don’t get it? There’s sentence structure errors and it just plain doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t give me a sense of what the rp is about. Adding to the inconsistencies, your admin description says you’re using Holland Roden as your Mascot when you’re using Alexandra Daddario. Your first post is just you saying over and over again ‘This is a sentence’, which I get was probably for theme testing, but delete that post! It seems to me that you just forgot to fix a lot of things before opening up the blog for people to look at.Your plot took me a bit of effort to actually get through. I had to re-read some sentences because it didn’t initially make a whole lot of sense. But once I understood it, it did seem pretty interesting in theory, I’m just wondering how it can be properly executed. Especially if you plan to keep everyone confined for two weeks: I think a better start would be sending them out to find Incolumitas rather than struggling in a confined space they aren’t allowed to leave: confined spaces means people will sometimes struggle with plots and eventually get bored and leave. Also, I’m failing to understand why you have a page dedicated to the virus when the virus is no longer around? This rp is supposed to be post Virus…

Honestly, I just keep finding error after error after error and it makes it very exhausting to get through the whole blog and it literally gives me no interest in joining. Overall, I think you have some great bones and an interesting plot, you’re on the right track, you just still have a lot of work to do. I feel like you’ve got a solid idea of what you want, it just hasn’t been properly executed yet.

When I look at the blog, I am very much creeped out. I’m not entirely sure why though—-just the way everything looks and feels, plus the ‘ignore the rumors about the witches’ bit all combined to give me a ‘something is not right in this town’ kind of feeling. The fact that you’ve got me intrigued and wanting more means your are 100% on the right track. The theme itself is perfect and beautiful and just the right amount of off to not make it seem to peppy or poppy, but not be dark and scary. You found the perfect middle ground. On to the plot, my brain went ‘Is this a Charmed rp?’ because you used the name Halliwell and I wasn’t far off: A witch rp, supernatural. But it has a twist in that it’s an MTV Reality type plot. Nice job on switching things up there. Your wanted FCs list is nice and diverse, the navigation is simple and to the point, I don’t get lost looking for anything. You’ve got lots of information about the show and the witches…literally all my questions are answered. I’m trying, and I’m not finding anything wrong.

Rating: Eight crowns out of Ten

I don’t get much of an idea of what the rp is about through the url, but it’s short and to the point. The spelling might give people some issues, though, when trying to remember it off the top of their head. Aesthetically, I instantly got that this was a school-esque type rp. It might be helpful to put the link to the plot in the main navigation (the hover, I mean. Sidebar.) The colors are nice too, very preppy, very suiting of what I believe you’re going for here. That plot. How unique! I have literally never seen an rp like this before in the tags. And if it has been done before, this is certainly one of the few. So kudos for that. I have to say though, your spread of FCs isn’t particularly unique. I’m always on the hunt for diversity and it seems like you’ve just got the token few which isn’t BAD it’s just…you know…okay. A little body diversity would be nice, and using people other than Zayn and Selena to round out the roster in the POC department.

Overall, I think you’ve got a great rp here! I wasn’t left blown away, but I’m’ very interested in it. Best of luck getting applications and I hope you stay open for a long time!

In my opinion, this guide is long overdue. Many “how to play an LGBT+ character” guides are written by cishets based off of incorrect knowledge, poor research, and a general lack of understanding.

A lot of admins and roleplayers, as well as writers in general, have expressed interest in creating and playing nonbinary character but are either afraid of being offensive or are actually offensive.  So, I will go through several sections not only on how to play these characters but about nonbinary people in real life.

This is a very personal subject and everyone experiences their own trans-ness differently.  Also, full disclaimer, I’m very tired and very passionate and have NO filter so some of this might not make sense or might surprise you.

While this guide might seem very long, I feel like I’ve barely touched on a lot of the stuff I wanted to discuss.  I encourage further research and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
