Fucking OW. I've seen some high damages in this game, but... I have never seen a hit like that. I made the mistake of doing that skyscale leap-mount RIGHT when Nourys was turning on its Eye Beam attacks. And I strayed right into the path of the beam from the Gluttony eye. Two. Billion. Damage. Billion with a B. ....I honestly didn't know it could go that high. I think that's about 10k times more than the health of my character at that point. It was an insta-down, of course, but I'm pretty sure it should have vaporized me and made me respawn at a waypoint, for that kinda damage. Ow.

Addendum: After I made this post, I decided to search Sejm on the GW2 wiki and... "It is implied that Sejm underwent the transformation while him and Frode survived a harsh winter during a travel to Saldistead. After weeks surviving on low food and with no signs of life nearby, he suggested Frode to hunt for food, and as he ran faster than Frode, he was found frozen in place, shredding, bleeding, screaming, but as he begged Wurm for help, his transformation stopped midway and as Frode approached him, the ice cracked and he drowned in the frozen waters." (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Champion_Boneskinner) It also suggests there isn't just ONE Boneskinner, but quite a few. They're just extremely solo hunters and don't stay near each other, so it seems like there's one continuous Boneskinner running around. Kinda like the Beast of Gevaudan, which might not have been one big seemingly unkillable wolf, but an entire pack that was getting picked off one at a time, so it SEEMED like the same one kept returning. It also seems there's multiple ways to become a Boneskinner, and they do involve excessive starvation, not just corruption of the Spirits. So yeah, there's that Kodan we tried to help with their increasing appetite... and they'll be one of the newest Boneskinners when they finally turn. One wonders what really happened to Sejm, because he was warping long before he tried to call on his Spirit. Did the Spirit fail him? Did something ELSE answer his call and started warping his flesh?

This might be a little late... but can we talk about THIS little tidbit I guarantee almost everyone missed? A failed Norn spirit transformation. Failed. And the result was something horrifying. I can think of a million things that could have resulted; something like The Fly, only with whatever Spirit animal Sejm was trying to transform into. Or like a 40K warpspawn, all rampant flesh and mismatched parts. Or one other option. One that is blamed on Jormag because it was around when Jormag was active, like it's something that Jormag made, and not just something that's been haunting the dead woods for hundreds of years on its own. Something so heinous and evil that, even if destroyed, it will come back on its own, in another way, through another person, to resume its horror. Boneskinner.

Ever wonder if Sohothin has an on/off switch? Or does it just ignite on its own when you pull it out? It'd be detrimental if it's on all the time, or you can't figure out how to turn it on or off when you need to.
How do you scabbard the thing? It's blade is twined spiky stuff! Is there a metal tube it goes in?
I have so many questions… With that blade style too, given it's kinda twined-tongues... It's more of a club, really. It REALLY relies on that flame to 'cut' things, because those metal tongues probably can't. Sohothin is a weird sword. A weird flaming club sword. LoL.
perhaps you're right about a flaming sword being a useless and extremely hazardous weapon to wield but the fact remains that i am wielding this kickass flaming sword and you are not

Tijja was reluctant to do it, but was finally convinced when she was told it would help boost sales of 'Lady Gray's' newest novel in its Canthan Light Novel form. It seems that the 'Golden Bikini' meme has infiltrated the Canthan and Rata Sum information networks, and she couldn't help but notice it drew people's attention to various accounts. Since 'Lady Gray' never makes public appearances, it fell to her to wear the promotional bikini for the meme. It's far outside her comfort zone, but it's just this one time, right? "Just take the picture."
---- I can't draw, so this is the best I can do. LoL.

She looks so much like my Vivi that it brings tears to my eyes. Even the name is pretty close; Jojo.

Agreed. And 'sleep' has to be on the number keys. Two versions of it for both book and dataslate/paper.
We need laz-e-boy recliner as a chair option in GW2, complete with "fallen asleep while holding a book" pose and "fallen asleep while reading the newspaper" pose

And here’s that drawing I promised! You might recognize her from old pieces, this is Lejjix, my Asuran elementalist. But right now, she’s just enjoying the hot springs in Janthir.

Did a little fine-tuning on the sisters to get them story-correct, since I had makeover kits to spare. (really wish we'd get a long, loose haircut style for Asura) Tenna, on the far left, is tall, and lanky. Slim, but her height (for Asura) makes her seem downright scrawny. She's also the youngest sister. Tenna also has the longest ears of the trio, with hers having a noticeable curl to their tips. Miriya in the middle, is also the middle child. She's kinda the runt, being short AND slim. She has her sister's skinny, but not the height. She's the palest out of the sisters. Sonnya on the far right side is tall, but has the mass her sisters lack. She's not overly muscle-y; she'd never win in a bodybuilder competition. But she's got more meat on her than either of her sisters. Her complexion is a bit pink compared to her kin.

I'd like to add I also hate bosses that have a bullshit powered up super mode when you get them down to a certain percentage. Like either down to their last health bar, or down to 10-25% health and they suddenly pull out new weapons, new attacks, stronger attacks (all unblockable so you gotta just hope you got the HP or can dodge).
I still remember playing FF XII and fighting Cid for the first time. He surrounds himself with Bits that cast protective and healing spells on him, attack you, and cast buffs on him. And he has two pistols he fires alternately, to boot. And the Bits would heal each other if I remember right, and entirely undo all the damage I could do.
I managed to destroy ONE bit and get his shield to drop so I could hit him. ONE BIT. Best I could do. The moment it goes down, Cid basically says "oh ho! Guess I need to take the kid gloves off!"
And he immediately resurrects the Bit I beat, casts things like Bubble and Haste and ALL the buff spells, and then starts double-tapping characters by firing both pistols in a two-attack move he then does every 5 seconds. Just ONE pistol shot was enough to nearly or totally down one of my characters, but two? Just flattened the party in 15 seconds.
And there was a Point of No Return area just before that, with enemies I barely got past. I couldn't go back. Couldn't go forward. I'd basically softlocked myself because of a bullshit boss.

It REALLY annoys me when games do this. Some older JRPGs are guilty of this
