i don't think we realise the full angst potential of bitchkiller in canon. barty's dad literally SENT SIRIUS TO AZKABAN. WITHOUT A TRIAL.
Can you imagine James, Sirius and Remus all wallowing in fucking misery while simultaneously joining a war after their boyfriends (Barty, Regulus, Evan) joined the opposite side. Same goes for the other 3.
And the sheer rage when Barty sees Sirius thrown into the cell in front of him? The state of grief and shock and guilt he's clearly in? AND WHEN HE FINDS OUT HIS FUCKING FATHER DID IT WITHOUT A FAIR TRIAL?
