Drew Two Gem! Oh shoot, I mean Two Pearl! Tilly is there also [furiously].

Facts and ramblings below!

This is my first time drawing a wolf- but luckily, I have seen one before, so that helped. lol. Let me know if anything is atrociously wrong.

Pearl’s wings and little head fuzzies are inspired by a luna moth. It is genuinely such a pretty moth. I tried to make them look almost pearl-like in colors, but I’m not sure if that comes across.

She has a star necklace which was a sort of friendship necklace with Scott in Last Life (in my imagination world), and her being the “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”, she would totally wear it everywhere.

In the two previous drawings I did, they had some form of on-person bag(s) to keep their inventory. I intentionally didn’t give Pearl any, since I imagine she would just pack all her stuff in her pockets. She has a week old steak in her hoodie pocket.

Something I have learned from this drawing is that blood is hard to draw in a simple style. Will have to work on that.

The backgrounds are getting progressively more detailed, which means by the time I get to Joel, they’ll be legally classified as masterpieces [lying].

For as long as he can remember, Scott's body has always bent to his will - changing its form as he pleased. Because of this, he was whisked away by an organization whose actions he doesn't necessarily agree with.

Here, he becomes Star, a carefree and flirtatious figure known for her skill with her bow.

To the rest of the world, he's Scott Smajor, a college student. Popular. Extroverted. Calm.

But there were... certain problems within his team. For one, his supervisor is his old friend with whom he had a destructive falling out - Grian. Cleo's his saving grace; they're a close friend aware of his situation. Gem is genuine, albeit deep in the org's propaganda. Mumbo's nice, but he knew he was always Grian's best friend first.

And worst of all, he's never felt this understood before, which would be great if it hadn't been from a member of their rival org, Canary.

Gem was not going to fumble this opportunity she's been given; a mission with high-ranked members. Yet this... rivalry? with Eclipse was really not making her performance flattering. Even as a student, she's in constant (one-sided, Scott says) competition with Pearl. There's just something... off about her.

My head cannon for season 10 Gem is that she used to be a navy captain but quit under mysterious circumstances and moved to a spooky town... perhaps heeding the call of a sea monster (ohhhh 🐙!)

She hung this portrait up somewhere hidden in her house as a reminder of what she used to be (as well as some notes around her monster investigation).
