Seeing Joe cry on It Takes Two tonight has made me so emotional. 

Being his fan for such a long time and never seeing him that emotional EVER and now seeing this, it has just made me realise what Strictly really means to him and how gutted he is that it’s coming to an end and it’s honestly breaking my heart. 

This journey he went on with Dianne is the best thing that could have ever happened to him and I’m so happy he decided to go and bring us along on it. It changed him for the better, it made him so happy and it really got him out of his shell (as Zoe said in the clip) and we got to see a whole new side of him. It also brought a whole new audience to his channel, made so many older people (usual fans of the Strictly show) acquaintances with the youtube world and that is such an amazing success both for him as an individual and the whole youtube platform in general.

I can proudly say I was his fan when he was an awkward boy doing pranks on his roommate, I am his fan now that he’s become an amazing dancer and I will be, forever, no matter what he decides to do next.

I am a bit upset that Joe didn’t win but I am SO PROUD of him it overshadows it. This boy proved everyone wrong, even us his fans, cause I was not sure about him and dancing in the beginning too haha. He put in the work, the hours, the sweat and he did AMAZINGLY. He got to the final and made so many new people fall for him and his beautiful heart.

Dianne was a DREAM. So lucky to get her. It was an amazing few months. Now back on those Thatcherjoe videos I have been missing so much!!

do you think joe is gay or bisexual? and are jaspar dating now or in the past, i'd like to know your opinion :)

Hi love ! Sorry I took so long to answer but life is pretty crazy lately and I wanted to answer this the right way.

Let’s start, shall we?

1. So, on the jaspar part of the question : I do not ship them romantically (anymore?) but I very obviously enjoy seeing them together. They always had a visible chemistry, and special relationship. This cannot be argued and it’s there for everyone to see.And so they are happy being together and so am I to watch them interact. I love these two so much. They had become, over the years, a brand. One without the other, what? I know, crazy.

As all of us can see, it isn’t the same anymore… I do see the joeck fandom flourish, and it makes me both laugh and get melancholic, as everything is so similiar to how the jaspar fandom used to be ! And of course some people truly believe they are dating, and others ship them just for fun -because they enjoy seeing the pair together.

As for jaspar dating, in the past, they could have very well been, many things would like us to believe, it is a possibility. As for now, I do not believe they are together.

2. Joe’s sexuality: I have learnt over the years not to put sexual labels on people. I have no right to speculate on someone’s sexuality. I am asexual, and maybe it plays a role in it, but asking myself what is someone’s sexual attraction, never ever crosses my mind. (Unless I ship characters. I don’t ship real people anymore, unless the word ‘ship’ is simply thinking “they would look cute together!”.) So it never crosses my mind, that is, until someone points it out. And then again, I couldn’t care less.But this question is important as Joe has always, seemingly, been shipped with boys (and he has played a huge role in it, he knows it creates a fandom and therefore views and a following, let’s not lie to ourselves.)

Joe has said before that he was looking for a girlfriend, and has never mentioned once being attracted to the same gender. (Apart the other day when he said “I love men with great hair” which could have very well been a joke.) Meaning I would not say myself that I think he is gay or bisexual. The way he acts could indeed make some think this or that about his sexuality, but I would never force a sexuality upon someone. (Not intending that you do, of course.) That said, if Joe is anything other than straight, and he could very well be, I would support it no matter what, that is a given.

That was a long answer… Sorry I took so long. I hope I answered the right way, and that you got the reply you were waiting for -likely not, my apologies.Don’t hesitate to share thoughts and reflections about what I said.
