When your boyfriend or girlfriend asks if you are okay..

Don’t lie to them. If y'all are in love, tell them what’s bothering you. They care. It’s okay to be vulnerable with them. Don’t tell them “yes, I’m okay” and you’re not, because then you’ll be mad at them for not understanding your hurt when YOU HAVEN’T EVEN EXPLAINED IT to them. People can’t read minds. Give them the chance to listen, give them the chance to understand. Let them love you, communication is key.

Have you ever wanted a baby so bad it aches in your soul? And everyone around you just thinks you like babies and they’re cute. They all tell you: oh you don’t want a baby, you just like that they’re cute and tiny. But you see a baby or a kid playing a sport and their family cheering them on and you tear up because your soul is longing for that. Is that just me? Sometimes I get frustrated with how light baby fever is taken, because I feel like not everyone understands how bad some people want it. Especially those who are told they might not be able to. But even those of us who are just waiting for our someday, it’s not this light Facebook joke. It’s a deep need that hurts bad at times.
