i could write an essay on how the song Thneedville from the lorax makes me feel emotionally on like a gut level it’s such a catchy upbeat song but the lyrics are so depressing bc it feels like a prarody of a dystopian world where peoples lives revolve around capitalism advertisements parking lots lawns and then when the realization hits that that’s just the world your living in right now it literally makes me feel sick. but it’s thneedville from the lorax
