Instead of EXPO Plaza it will now take place on P28, a parking lot close to the original location. They also strongly advise to take public transport as some roads around the area are going to be closed. I'm still team fuck the jurys but what if the 50/50 vote stays but we make the jurys bigger and according to a country's population? Every country would get a minimum of 10 jury members plus 1 more member per 1,000,000 citizens. I'm well aware that this would mean that some countries would still be left with just 10 members while Germany would have 92 members but even 10 members are a broader representation of a country's music industry than 5

Ah, yes! Because Germany, the country with the biggest population and the most neighbours from all current Eurovision participants, is known for doing great in the public vote (or in general). By that logic all big five countries should be doing great in the televote but the only one who always (and rightfully so) does is Italy

Turns out Lord of the Lost was right: Sweden's bitter.

It's good to not see the 2nd or 3rd placed being bitter after the last two years but Swedish Media and some of Loreens fans are just making it worse for Loreen. Is it really that hard do understand that not everyone wanted the song to win? Really shows how used to winning or ranking high at Eurovision they are and how it got to their heads. Really hope they don't qualify in 2025 just to ground them a bit

It's funny how most of them say that Käärijä supporters are toxic for saying he's the peoples winner for winning the televote but post stuff like this. Käärijä got along with a lot of the other contestants. Everyone loved him. The guys from Joker Out have literally been his biggest supporters among all the contestants this year so no wonder they rather go to support their friend. Monika was in one of the greenrooms directly behind him. Highly doubt that any other contestant did it out of disrespect to Loreen or because of poor sportsmanship. There is a tight schedule and she had to get to the stage. You can literally see people in the greenroom applauding her on the broadcast while she goes to the stage and that's definitely not disrespectful

Last esc post I swear but look at Loreen stans seething because the other acts went to support Käärijä 😂

I'm actually suprised Sweden did not once get 12 points from the public and still became second in the televote

Still mad about last night but fuck the "Sweden won because of Abba anniversary" and "Sweden and Finland at the top because of Nato" theories. The real questions is what did Norway do to always get robbed by the jurys? Interesting to see them in the top 10 in 2019, 2022 and 2023 in the public vote but only in place 17 (2023 and 2022) and 18 (2019) in the jury vote

Fuck the jurys. Get rid of them. Käärijä deserved it more. LOTL deserved to place higher. But you know what is most heartbreaking to me? Hearing Peter Urban (Germanys commentator for 25 years) being sad over the fact that we got last again on his last Eurovision when he was sure we would do a lot better (he also said his favorit was Käärijä). Tomorrow all of Germany is going to talk about about how much everyone hates us when we could have placed a bit better if it wasn't for the jurys.

By the way, German public gave Käärijä 12 points and for once I'm proud of my country 💚

I'm also watching the German/Swiss/Austrian aftershow talk right now and I don't know why I'm doing this to myself. It explains a lot why the jurys vote as they do
