Colin stopped in his tracks, confused. "Wait, what? Why? That sounds sad. Was she at least kind?"

"it's not that sad, a lot of paredts don't like their children eating sweets all the time" Kat tries to make Colín understand that she's not angry or sad about her childhood "And, yes, she was really kind..." Kat smiles melancholicaly.

"Did you eat stuff like this often when you were a kid? As in, sweets?" He stretched, watching Kat attentively.

"No, only on specialy days like holidays or my birthday, my mom was really strict with sweets so i though, for once, we could give ourselves a treat and eat something nice"

*Kat takes the finished sweets out of the oven* Careful, they are still really hot

He quickly nodded, a big smile plastered on his face, and followed her instructions. He was immensely excited. "I'm sure it will taste amazing!"

She starts mixing everything together while laughing and excitedly talking to Colin "Yes, im sure It Will taste really great" kat puts everything in the oven.

"So I was told!" He grinned, wrapping a hand around her arm, leaning into her. "What do you like? We should put everything we want in it, it's going to be so epic!"

"I like chocolate, what about you?" *She begins to crack the eggs inside a bowl* Colin, could you please start measuring the sugar? Were gonna need It soon

He followed her, basically skipping. "Okay, okay! It's gonna be amazing!" He looked over her shoulder, smiling. "Do you know any recipes? Or do we do it from memory?"

"I remember the recipe but not the exact measurements so were probably wanna do It from memory and see if It works. Do you like chocolate?" She takes out everything they might need and washes her hands on the sink.

"Really?!" He was growing more and more hyped at the ideas "What are we gonna bake? A cake, muffins, cookies?! I can bake anything!"

"We can Cook whatever you like, everything you just said sounds delicious" Kat smiles and goes to the kitchen to prepare the ingredients.

"Thank you!" He hugged her. "Oh! I've got an idea!" He soon pulled away, taking Kat's hands in his. "What if we baked something later?!"

Kat hasn't baked anything since she was a little kid. "Thats... Thats a wonderful idea, Colin!" She smiles with excitement and gently holds Colin's hands.

"Oh! Really?!" He got excited, and slightly waved his hands around. "Oh, I will definitely visit! And- and it'll be great! I promise I will visit you at least once in a while, yes!"

"I promise i Will visit you once un a while too" she laughs a bit,seeing Colin so excited makes her really Happy.

She smiles at him "And you can come back to visita whenever you want, you Will always be welcome"

He shrugged. "I don't know how to... Con... Cond... That. I just stayed there, always. I'm sure they'll pick me up very soon. They will, really."

"Okay... you can stay here as long as you want until then" She is still very suspicious but she doesn't wanna make him sad with more questions.

He smiled at her, a bit taken by surprise. "Uh, okay! You're telling me a lot of weird things now... Never heard of anything like that."

He started to think, but it seemed like he really struggled at first. "I, hm... I come from a... Family, I think? Not- not forever, I was... Before it, no..." He sighed in frustration, but shook his head. "I come from a family, yes, and we had a house. And soon, I'm sure, I will be picked up."

Kat looks even more worried and comfused now, Colin doesn't seem to remember almost anything about his past "A family... So, you had parents, maybe siblings too... And they are going to pick you Up, do they know where you are right now or should i Contact them somehow?"

"Oh... That's- Sorry, because I need them?" He scratched his head, extremely confused. It was such a strange concept to him. "But how will I pay you back for it? What do you even get in return if you don't require my help?"

"You don't need to pay me back for anything, there are basic things someone should be able to have without needing to give anything in return, like food or a place to stay" Kat is increasingly worried about where Colin might have come from "Colin, could you tell me more about the place you come from? If It isn't too rude to ask, Ofcourse"

He mirrored her, taking a sip from his tea as well. "Are- are you sure...? I'm under your roof right now, after all... And you've given me food and clothes and stuff!"

"Im giving you food, clothes and that stuff because you need them, not because i want you to serve me in any way, in this House se treat eachother as equals" She leans Closer to Colin.
