Leaflet analysis
This traveling brochure is called ‘Island Safari Echo Nature Tours’. I personally think that it is effective, because it has got all the useful informations that will lead the tourist to the destination.
On the first place, this brochure is effective because I know what this company offers by its name and cover.
Next, all the activities seem worth the price. The brochure makes me come up with this idea, because it provides a bunch of images showing all the activities, leaving no blank space. It illustrates ‘Island Safari’s’ distinctive point, such as, elephant, monkeys and kayaking, rice farming, ox-cart riding, fish spa, Thai fruit buffet, Thai boxing, fish spa. Furthermore, people are also smiling in the images, showing that they are happy. All of these plus the price in between 800 to 2000 gives me positive impression towards the place.
Thirdly, the colour scheme. For me colour scheme does not really matter here, as I just mention that less space is available due to the images. However, the background is in yellow, which represents happiness and joyfulness. It matches with the images really well, as all the people seem happy, giving a really impressive atmosphere.
The fourth important point is that the brochure is aimed to target toward ranges of audiences, because the images include adults, children, group tours, elders, families , young people, couples and others. The image alsos also represent Thai culture, such as elephant, which is Thai national animal. This means that the writer is targeting towards foreigner audience. Furthermore, the text is also translated into chinese. Therefore this brochure targets towards chinese tourists too.
Lastly, all the essential informations are provided. The first important one is the contact infos. It has got Krabi, Phuket and Khaolak branch contacting numbers, plus a line QR code and a website. The prices and programs are also provided in lists. The programs are named, and the prices are highlighted. This makes it is easier for the reader to read and faster to progress work.
In conclusion, this brochure is effective, because it has got attrsctive images that makes the audience wants to furthermore read. A reasonable price that makes them want to go. Lastly, a contact information, helps then to contact each other straight forward. See how fast the process goes, that's what makes it effective.

Are you looking forward for traveling to Thailand? If yes, we are here to provide you the must do and must avoid tips, for you peaceful traveling journey:)
Before getting into our topic, these are the must knows stuff.
-Thailand is a country where we drive on the left lane. Make sure to flip your mind when you cross on road.
-Thailand does not include motorbike lanes. It zigzags around like spaghetti.
-For your safety, please don’t go to somewhere with least people.
After seeing the big picture of Thailand, let’s dig into our topic! Here are the list of what you should avoid doing in Thailand. However some of them are not not wrong but just inappropriate according to Thai cultures.
1. Don’t bring food to the place with monkeys.
Usually, there is a lot of monkeys on the local mountains. This is because monkey will steal all your stuff, and if it’s even worse they will bite you. After that you will have to go see doctor.
2.Don’t hug or kiss someone that is not as close to you.
In European countries, people tend to do huggings as their greetings, but in Thailand it is inappropriate to touch someone’s body if they are not close to you. Friends are fine, but not someone else. Secondly, kissing, it only happens in a family or couples. Other than that it is not quite acceptable.
3.Make sure you learn to use spoon and folks before stepping into Thailand border!
That was just a joke. However, Thailand is the country where we use folks and spoon together to eat main dish. This is because we mainly eat rice here. Unlike other countries where people eats breads, buns, steaks or pastas, they use folks and knife mainly. If you are a right handed, hold the spoon on your right hand and the folk on your left hand. Vise verse for left handed.
4. You must not order rice as a side dish. (Otherwise people from other tables will look at you strangely)
I personally has an experience where I met two white guys in a normal Thai restaurant. They both order two side dishes as their main dishes, and one bowl of rice in the middle of the table as a side dish. This is not what Thai people usually do , therefore to respect Thai culture, you should swap it around. However, if you prefer that then do your own a favor.
5. You must definitely bring sunscreen.
Sunscreen is very important to our skin, because it provides the protections from the Sun to our skins. Sun can cause us skin cancers when we get older. Especially for a hot country like Thailand. The average temperature here is about 28 degrees Celsius. So , that’s why you should bring sunscreen here. Even though if you want to do sunbathing , putting on sunscreen is better for your health.
Now, let’s move into something you must try in Thailand!
1. You must try local Thai recommended restaurants.
Thailand is also famous for food, because it includes all the taste in one dish. Trying street food in the night market is the best, because in some restaurants, the chef will somehow try to change the original taste of Thai food. This is because there are aware of you not feeling used to the taste. Sometimes it’s too spicy and sour, and some foreigner might not be able to handle it.
2. Go on the beach
Thailamd has a very beautiful and preserved nature. The beach is wonderful, especially in Phuket. You must go there! There are plenty of activities you can do on the beach.( I wrote about phuket traveling itinerary , you must have a read)
3. Climb mountain
It does not matter that you are an adventerous traveller or not. Climbing mountain can be really exciting here. You must prepare a bag, water, sunscreen, phone and others. Once you are on top of the mountain, you will be pleased by a wonder ful scenic view.
4. Go on tuk tuk
Tuk tuk is a Thai transport that looks similar to a motorbike, but with three tyres and a roof. It is the best when you receive a warm wind from out side.

Phuket
Taking a road trip around a magnificent island: Phuket, in the country that has the world's top delicious food. Is not that a nice experience to have?
Phuket, an island that maintains all kinds of travelling styles. Weather you are a photographer traveller, there is plenty of aesthetic views around for you to take photos of; an active traveller, Mountains are all over the place for you to climb; a luxury traveller, there is a bunch of expensive hotels.
Talking about an island, you would probably be thinking about beach. Patong beach seems to be the most popular among traveller as it has restaurants and bars all around. If you are from HKT international airport there are minibus and taxi available. The distance is abot 44 kilometres apart, and it will cost about 400 to 600 thai baht. There are plenty of activities you can do there. You can go sunbathing there, play beach volleyball, surf, riding a jetski, swim, or simply just chill in a cafe. As a reminder, you should definitely bring sunscreen, because the sun is really strong. You could even fried an egg there: just kidding!
Tumblr media
Patong beach can not exist without Patong, because it is a wonderful sub district for street food, music, lights, and clubs. It is a top place that travelers go to due to its convenient. There are many local hotels, rating from 3 to 5 stars and pharmacies. For the hotel, it depends on you, weather you want the quality or the money. Patong is not only near to the sea ,but it is also located on the mountain. Many hotels would offer you lots of kinds of amazing views.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next up, after playing on the beach. You would probably feel tired, because much energy has been wasted. There are lots of massage services. Massage is really popular in Thailand, because it’s super cheap. Especially for Thai style massage, 1 hour would probably cost about 250 baht. There is also cool hair service, but make sure to not be scam by the hairstylist.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Enough about Patong, because it’s time to move on! Next will be about Phuket’s tourists places.
1.Phuket famous night Markets
There are 3 night markets that I recommend.
Firstly, Naka Market. It is on penned on Saturday and Sunday. Naka Market has many kinds of foods, including European food, Chinese food, and so on. I recommend this because there are more street foods than any where else. Souvenirs are also sold there. The car parking area is also big so it’s quite good.
Secondly, the Chilva market. This market is smaller than Naka and there is no roof on the walking area. If it rains you will have to hide somewhere. Chilva Market does not have as much street food as the other one. However the lighting is better.
Thirdly, this is my favorite one because it is located in Phuket town, and it gives you a vintage sense. There are two or three mini concerts, including Thai songs and English songs. Artworks and paintings are sold there, if you are interested. It has got more tourists than other markets, because Phuket town is famous, and it will also be crowded. More importantly, it is opened on Sunday ONLY, don’t go there and realize that it is not Sunday.

My Dream Destination
To be honest, I want to go everywhere around the world, but I can only choose one for this blog. Therefore, it must be amazingly special!!
As I mentioned in my last introduction blog about my dream destination that I want to go to India, it is still my dream destination. Firstly, I want to go there because of the food. I saw many you-tubers have tried Indian street food and there face went confused for a moment, but most of them said it’s good. I don’t care if it is good or bad, because the purpose is to try Indian street foods.
Fun facts about Indian street food
I always laughed really hard when I was watching the Indian street food video from tourists with my brother and my aunt. It was funny when they used the raw materials to cook and sauces. I thought that those raw materials were funny for no reason, it just did not looked delicious. Not even like something used to cook. It also seemed to be unhygienic, because they used a lot of hands, but that’s just a culture, basically. Some of them uses newspaper instead of a bowl, some used a glass cup for serving drinks and wash it wish pure water for the next person. However, there is some cool ones too, I saw a man using a soda making. He just poured the water into the machine and it turned out as soda. Cool right?
I have been talking a lot about cultures on street foods, now let’s begin about the food I really want to try. Firstly Roti is really famous in Thailand, the place where I live. It is a kind of dough, and there are different sauces for it and side dishes for it. I heard that it is originated in India, so that is why I want to try it there.
Next, I wanted to visit Taj Mahal, it is a famous monumental building in India located in the city of Agra. I learned about it in year 8. It was built through historical events in the past(1632 AD), by Shah Jahan one of the emperor of the Mughal Empire, which traded in the Indian Subcontinent.

Culture Shock In Taiwan
Today I am going to giving examples of culture shock in Taiwan. Even though Taiwan is a vey small Island, it has plenty of cultures you could learn from. This is not an entertainment travel writing, but more of an information and facts.
About two or three years ago when I was travelled to Taiwan with my family. Well I would not say I am a tourism, because I have Taiwan passport. So please trust ME! I was on the elevator of a random hotel, and looked for the floors on the buttons, but surprisingly I could not find the 4th floor. Normally, if you travel to somewhere around the world, number 13 is the most common lucky number. At first, I thought it was the hotel’s fault, then my father told me that it was not a fault, but the number ‘4’ means dead in Chinese, as it sounds similarly to the word dead.
Secondly,I remembered that time when I was talking to my cousin in Chinese. I did not know that the adjective ‘Yellow’ in Chinese has its second meaning. I was just saying that something is yellow ( in colour), but then my cousin told me that it is an adjective that describe something 18+, and that gave me a lesson, that I should not just randomly use this words around. If you are trying to learn some basic Chinese, please note that some words also have their second meaning, so better be ware of it.
Next, this is about what I observed about restaurants in Taiwan. I am referring to normal restaurants beside the streets now, not the five stars restaurant or in the mall. I had a lot of experience in Taiwan, because my father came from there. And I had been seeing many restaurants in Taiwan, serving water or juices by using plastic cups, the one that you throw it away after using it. Not only cups that are plastics, but also spoons, I did not get the point of using it at all. Maybe it could be that they had no time to wash it. The fact that make to cups and spoons memorable is that, those plastics was pink. I did not know what kind of plastic that is.
Another story in Taiwan’s restaurants: I was eating with my family It is not appropriate to stick the chopsticks on a bowl of rice. I admit that it was what I had done. It just a common sense, otherwise where could you put you chopsticks? This situation means curse in Chinese culture. It kind of reminds about the incense used in funeral.
In addition, some of you might be thinking about giving a gift to someone in Taiwan, that is a very good thing to do. Whenever my parents and me visit someone’s house, we always give them a little gift, to show respect and kindness. However, there is something you should avoid giving, which is a watch. It will turn out that you are giving bad luck, because a watch kind of reminds someone about the days until their mortalities.

Hello my name is Dollar(As mentioned in my username:) , and this is an introduction to my travel blog. I am a young traveler that really want to travel abroad. The reason is because I would love to see many different cultures around the world and I am also a big fan of food. I would like to try foods in different countries, and the best part is to compare them with my own country. I believe that there should be a country that has a better taste food than my mother country, which is Thailand! It is a place I am currently living in, and it is said to be the top five country with best food. As a traveler, I like to take pictures of different places and try different foods. Other than that I don’t know, As I always travel with my family and they always plan for me, and I could tell that they are an over planner traveler, but that’s not a big problem at all, it is good to plan, isn’t it?
Now, let’s begin talking about where I’ve been to. First of all I would say I have not travel out of Asia yet (But I will), and I don’t consider that as my weak point because I believe that Asia is an amazing continent. The list of countries are Taiwan, (I don’t know If that would be considered a country, but I have Taiwanese passport, it’s my father’s country) , Myanmar, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Macao.
My dream destination is India. This is because I really want to try Indian foods, I heard it is very good, especially for the street foods. However, being in India might be dangerous for travelers like us, because there are many bad people and thief there, and they might steal your phone from your pocket. So make sure to be careful.
