Crossbow Updates: The first and fore most i would like to mention the draw weight upgrade which is reduced to 95.5 pounds from 185 pounds in ghost 410 and yes this time we have a cocking rope with it that makes way a lot easy to cock the crossbow before flying the arrow. 

The next is scope upgrade which is 1.5-5x32mm this time and i must say this is the most important because if the scope of crossbow is great, you will have happy hunting right. There are also other upgrades that you can check out on the their page. 

Other than that almost everything is on the crossbow is the same but the one problem that came with it and you might not like which is the increase in the weight of bow which went way up to 7.6 pounds on Ghost 420 which was 7.3 pounds on ghost 410. 

Barnett Whitetail hunter II

The Barnett Whitetail is another is bow from Barnett that made it’s place among the some the best arrow machines in the world. However, it’s from the old crossbow from Barnett that means nothing much was done in the crossbow.

But still it has way more velocity and power to hunt down any game. Not as powerful as the Barnett ghost 410 and 420 but the speed of 350 fps is enough for anything whether it’s target shooting or hunting. 

I has been said that if the crossbow has more draw weight than it’s better for more velocity. Thankfully the Barnett whitetail hunter II has it with 150 pounds. Sounds much lesser than the 410 and 420 models but it’s worth having this crossbow. 

The weight has also a great impression on the crossbow which the White hunter II has at 6.4 pounds that makes it a lightweight crossbow. 

Phenomenal is the word that i would use for the this crossbow..!

The one and only Barnett recruit, yes you heard me. Without comparing it other crossbows from Barnett, it’s a master piece in itself with much power and accuracy categorized in budget friendly crossbows. Not just saying that it’s a best one doesn’t make sense right as long as it’s features are define properly right? so let’s get to it. 

The first thing is that it’s absolutely easy to assemble, all you need to do is to use the hardware and tools that comes with it and you are good to go right away. Don’t forget to apply lubricant before going out in the fields and shoot with. 

The speed is 300 fps which means you have to use it for hunting small games only, i am not it’s difficult for it to take on a large game but still for better experience a much powerful crossbow like barnett 410, 420 or whitetail hunter II are preferable. 

It’s 0.1 pounds heavier than the the whitetail hunter II making it 6.5 pounds but still it’s light enough carry around in the fields with ease. 

Getting to the important part, the draw weight, which is 130 pounds required before flying an arrow for a hunt.

Barnett Quad 400

This probably the older crossbow from Barnett that isn’t got that popular like the other crossbows that the company offered. There were few reasons behind why this crossbow failed. 

The first reason is the weight of the crossbow. the Quad 400 weighs around 9 pounds which is not a that impressive. The company could have reduced it so anyone would be able to lift it with ease.

However, the speed is better as compare to Barnett recruit with velocity of 345 fps and that is a fine speed for hunting. isn’t it?

It’s not like the crossbow has all bad things in it, most of them are good for any hunter. The draw weight is 150 pounds where the scope is mounted on it is high quality which means the bow isn’t that bad despite the fact that it has some negative points that make this crossbow a low quality one.
