"Just let me comfort you, for once" is a beautiful sentiment executed gorgeously, but there is nothing more heartbreaking than Dorian following it up with, "Please." He is so desperate to be a comfort to Orym the same way Orym always has been for him, to the point that he begs the opportunity to hold him close and help him this time. That "please" is so incredibly poignant
