I am Diaa Ayyad from Gaza, I joined my sisters ( @asmaayyad , @esraayyad14, @samaayyad15 ) So that we can collect donations as soon as possible so that we can leave Gaza when the Rafah crossing reopens.

In this difficult time. The past 11 months of displacement and famine have exacerbated our suffering and unbelievable difficulties. We have used all the sad words to describe the situation we have reached, but these words were not enough. The scale of the tragedy and suffering is much greater than what you may have seen on social media.

My family lost their home and I also lost my home which I had prepared to get married and settle down in with my life partner.

I am Lina from Gaza, 25 years old. I have been married for 4 years. I have a son named Saif, who is 2 years old, and a daughter named Sidra, who was born in the October War, who is 3 months old. They were born by caesarean section. Help me and my children evacuate Gaza. I need your help to evacuate my family from Gaza. I hope you and your loved ones find you safe and sound. I am coming to you with a very urgent and time-sensitive appeal. We face a constant and imminent threat of death, injury and disease, even during the so-called “truce”. My home has been bombed and destroyed beyond repair. My family’s home. We have been under occupation all our lives, and none of us have experienced anything like what is happening now. There is now an opportunity to get the entire family out of Gaza to Egypt via the Rafah crossing. We do not know how long this opportunity will last, which makes it imperative that we raise the necessary funds as soon as possible. The longer it takes, the more vulnerable they will be. No one knows how long the bombing of Gaza will continue. It will continue, regardless of the cost in human lives. For my family’s future, your help is essential. I am deeply concerned about my children.

The money you contribute will: Cover the enormous costs of safe passage to Egypt. The vast majority of the money will be used for this purpose.

Provide temporary housing for the family in Egypt while the best way forward is determined for them.

Cover some of their initial living expenses while they are in Egypt. We hope to provide them with at least two months’ worth of money. They need time and space to breathe after being gassed during this genocide

Once all of this is done, additional funds will be used to help me move past my current situation so that I can provide more support to my family. I have taken on the responsibility of caring for them during this critical and uncertain time and into the future.

i don't think mentally ill people necessarily gravitate towards online chatrooms out of a diffuse social stuntedness or anxiety but rather neurotypical socialization usually results in ostracization and being silenced and in mentalizing others perception of them they come to realize they will have much more productive socialization with similarly alienated people and vice versa and the social anxiety in their life instead develops from this mentalization even if it is accurate

what is "transgender"? is it just a salient incongruency between perceived gender and primary sexual characteristics, like ive come to believe and ive seen also repeated by others as a generalization as to resist incessant medicalization that includes innocent kids figuring out their identities as much as it does those who experience debilitating gender dysphoria? i don't perceive a gender of my own at all beyond some vague images of an ideal presentation, i want to be Outside gender, even "agender" or all the ever-increasingly granular "MOGAI"(?) labels still assert a relation to gender (even if specifically in regards to intensity)…all this i think would make the reality of such an (in)congruency indeterminate even beyond the deckle edges of my own perception and as such i dont really know if i can call myself transgender and have such a qualification be valid. long ago ive spoken to an acquaintance who has similar apathetic views towards gender identification and they said such an attitude still essentially qualifies you as transgender ("gender-agnostic" they call it), and longer ago still i identified as female full-stop, but i still don't really know. i kinda like the term "gender-agnostic" as it implies, which i agree with, that gender still works for other people, that it can be a productive force, a playground, and not a restrictive circumscription, and even i enjoy playing with identity sometimes (primarily online but our identities in totality are mostly generated through the curation of online profiles now anyway) but i could never self-impose any label on me, even a potentially accurate one like "gender-agnostic". im not sure why BUT i am certain its nothing to do with its granularity…am i transgender? maybe its a question of reworking the definition…my "visibility" is a whole other can of worms
