Human figures look really good among slot cars and they give a lot of realism to the slot car environment. The problem is they are usually expensive when they come painted. One way to adjust your budget is buy them unpainted and paint them yourself. You can have a lot of fun doing that, you just need the right materials and a little patience and practice. In this video we’re going to show you how to paint a 1:32 scale human figure to decorate your circuits or dioramas. This is the materials we used:

A resin replica of a figure, not in great shape but it came really cheap

3 brushes of different sizes

Water

Paper towel

A plastic white surface

We used these Vallejo acrylics:

White 70.951

Khaki 70.988

Black glaze 70.855

Gunmetal grey 70.863

Dark flesh 70.927

How to create your online slot car collection in WikiSlot

From now on you'll be able to add the cars available in the WikiSlot database to your virtual collection. Here's how to do it:

Use your Google, Twitter or Facebook account to log in. You don't need to sign up a new account in WikiSlot, just use one of those services: 

Go to your collection, you should see a page like this: 

No cars yet, try to find some cars that we might have in the database, like the F1 Saubers by Ninco. Simply type "ninco sauber" in the text box:

Use the (+) button to add cars to your collection, when you finish go to your collection and voilà!:

If you want to delete any cars from it just click on view and list and then use the trash can icon:

And that's it! Now you can keep track of the cars you have by adding them here and also share with others your slot car collection by simple sending them your slot car collection url

First Scalextric Spain cars online

First cars from the EXIN era of Scalextric Spain online in our site, for example this beautiful Ferrari GT 330 with its 4 different verions.

Finally we have the whole NINCO (NINCO, NINCO XLOT and NINCO 1) catalogues online.

You can use our search engine to search for example all the BMW made by NINCO, just type "NINCO BMW" in the search box.

Finally we're online! Lot of work has been done... a lot more to come.

As you can see we only have a few brands now online, but we will start posting the cars for NINCO real soon and we hope we will have the whole NINCO catalogue by the end of the week. Next will be SCX (Scalextric Spain) and Scalextric (UK).
