More snarls. Moving arm to glare. Go away! Bad pretty lady. Not part of deal. Showered two days ago. Tested today. Ate. Ate was good thing. Didn't want the rest. Did anyway. So should be left alone with warm.

"Get. Up." more sternly. Has reprimanded the child in the past, is not past doing it again so easily.

No. Huffs. Curling back up on his warm. Pretty lady could come back later. Nap now. Pointedly covering eyes with arm.

"Do not fight with me. This is important for your own well being, as well as the facility's." unrelenting! Tugs!

Another snarl. Wanted his warm! Had found. Was his now. Go away. Not allowed hurt pretty lady, but could growl and snarl and struggle. Warm. Nap. Not going time.

Helps the 'child' up. "You need to learn to go without nodding off like this."

No! Warm! Snarl! Pretty lady should let go! Had deal. Went to rooms once a day. Got food. Free to do as wished otherwise so long as no hurt others and no leave. Good deal. Wanted sleep. Not break rules. Pretty lady needed let go!

Hair? Hair was fine. Pretty lady being silly. Going back to nap now. Warm. Not giving up warm if no food.

Watches them not act like a reasonable, normal person. Which is probably just about 24/7. "Stop that."

Hm? Was napping on warm. Did something wrong? Shouldn't. Not supposed to go back to rooms until later. Maybe has food? Perks up. Food is good. Worth giving up warm.

Was food? No. Not food. Didn't taste like food. Wanted food. Stomach hurt. Would go back to Pretty Lady. Do more rooms. Get food. Or go to pack. Normally had food. But how? Lost. 

Find someone. Find food. Find home. Good plan. Time to look. Would find. Smart.

Slam on walls. Loud noise. Lots of banging. Someone come look. Then food!

SNARL! Hurt! Bad stupid cat! Can swipe back! Don't care not supposed to hurt cats. Bad cat! Deserved it. Deserved every hurt! Could put in fire place. Or shower. Or over catwalk. Kill. Hurt. Get rid of stupid!

Whirl and swipe! Bast hisses, glaring at the annoying human rat. She wishes she hadn’t left a hairball on The Monster’s pillow so she’d have one to sick up now. Her tail flicks rapidly and she waits to see if she’ll have to attack. She also checks for extra escape routes, just in case.

Not nearly fast enough. More growling. Storm forward. Will force stupidest cat to leave. Can carry. Force away. Can't hurt. But can leave somewhere can't get back from. Not sure where. Will find. Easy. Easier than trying to scare cat too stupid to understand scaring.

Bast lifted her leg for a quick wash to show the human rat just how disinterested she was. She stretched, raking her claws against the floor and then decided to meander off in another direction, pausing now and then to sniff nothing in particular.

Louder snarl. Menacing step forward. Will scare cat off. Most already gone by now. Must be stupider cat than normal. Much stupider. Stupidest. Go away stupidest cat. Bigger. Stronger. Should run away. He is threat!

Bast’s ears flattened. There was clearly something wrong with this human. She sniffed the air again, but it didn’t tell her anything new except that his breath was bad and some hints about his last meal. She yawned to let him know how little she cared and then rubbed against the nearest wall to mark it. This area wasn’t worth fighting over, but she wasn’t willing to run away yet, either.

Growl. Snarl. Show own teeth. His territory. Not cats. Cats get nothing. Can't hurt. Doesn't mean have to like. Doesn't mean can't scare off. Means can't hurt. Won't hurt. Just threaten. Go away cat. His. Go do stupid cat things elsewhere. Not here.

Growling? That was unusual, for a human. Bast wasn’t sure what it meant, but if this strange human rat thought it was going to scare her off, he was mistaken. This was as much her territory as anyone’s. She growled back at him, letting her lips curl back to show off her teeth.

'Nother person?... no. Cat. Seen lots of cats. Too many. Told can't hurt. Silly pretty lady. 

Just growl. Scares off other cats. Scare this one as well? Hope. Go away. Not want cats. Dogs? Good. Not cats. Shoo. Growl.

Bast’s eyes narrowed, her ears flattening to her skull as she caught a new scent. Human, but muskier and very dense. There he was, ahead of her in the corridor. She stopped, claws flexing instinctively. Not a Whitecoat. Maybe one of the human rats. Her tail swished as she waited to see what he did.

Free! FREE! Snarl at evil blanket-that's-not. Tried trapping him. Bad! Not want trapped. Free. Free is better. Much better. Warm enough. Floor gives warms. Floor not trap. Floor good.
