“Moon Invocation” - A prayer to Selene, Artemis and Hekate.
“In the clearest night Selene presents Herself Sparkling, unparalleled, lively Goddess The kind titanid has in company Noble Artemis of the Golden Bow And Ourania Hecate, bull-crowned Resplendent and beautiful, sacred ones! Hear my prayer! Grant good fortune and abundance Love and protection May no spell come my way Without Hekate close to approach With your torches enlighten me And against evil may you keep me And may the sweetness of Artemis Save us and be guiding us In the dark illuminated night By honored and bright Selene Bull-led goddess Mene [Moon] of many names! Khairete Theai! Great Goddesses! Holy ones! I will remember you again When the full moon breaks the month in half!”
Portuguese:
Khairete Theai! Grandes Deusas! Sagradas! Lembrarei-me de vós outra vez Quando o plenilúnio partir o mês!
I know it doesn’t rhyme in english, but hey, that’s my Dikhomenia - Full Moon, not a recon festival but just a term to indicate the half-month of the lunar calndary 0 invocation to the Goddess of the moon, Selene and the other Theai who are most associated with Her - Hekate and Artemis.
May this full moon brings you all many blessings!
Oulete!

Prayer to Goddess Hera
Reflect onto me, Goddess Hera, the brilliance of your light.
I come to this time and see myself in the mirror as if I remember who I really am; the queen within me is reborn, and I honor that leadership that has been found.
Goddess Hera, you have reigned where others have failed. You have the insight, wisdom, and keen judgment—Oh, cow-eyed Queen—to move with and within all situations that are out of order in my life; I call to you to lead me to fulfillment and away from any negativity that threatens my commitment, both to others and myself.
I now burn with the regal reminder of all that I am. I accept my shadows, and cast them into night, so that I may rise with the sun, the pride of a thousand peacocks glowing within. Remind me how because of everything, and despite everything, oh great Queen, remind me how it all lead me here, to you and everything you stand for: the union of two souls... the union of a soul lost in time with it’s patron.
Reclaimed—thy name is Hera!
The flame of victory now swells within me so that I may see the glory of my whole self.
With that glory, I find the acceptance of all that I am, vice and virtue, and hold that truth deep within my heart forever to know I am worthy!
Opinions be damned!
I now reflect on the dormant beauty of my inner strength that has lain within.
Goddess Hera, I thank you for your perseverance, and honor that as you are, so am I.

A prayer to Hera
Hera Basíleia, my honored Queen
I ask you, all powerful and ever-loving, have mercy!
Mother when no earthly mother was there,
A great source of strength to your subjects,
Have mercy!
Take my hand and lead me to peace.
Mother Hera, I beg.
Ease the aching of my mind and soul.
Calm the voices that would cause me harm.
Bind the hands that wish to destroy me.
I humbly ask that you will accept my plea.
Hail, Hera!

Prayer to Hera
Most radiant Hera, Queen of Olympus, I praise you. Gracious child of Rhea, I honor your might, and bow before you in my time of need.
O most blessed mother, protector of married women, spare me from all the pains of marriage. Let me not live in ownership, and protect me from those who see love as self serving.
Instead lead me forward, let me build a family worth your blessing. May no child I love feel hunger, may my sisters never feel the bite of abuse.
In your name, I wear this token of my devotion, to be forever reminded of your mercy. In your name, I will work to ensure none suffer in marriage, and give strength to the victims who do. In your name, no child I come across will bear injury because of my words and actions.
I give my thanks to you, most humbly.

My prayer to Hestia before a meal
I just came across a post talking about a pagan version of the Christian "amen". So i decided to share my simple prayer before a meal.
Goddess of the hearth, bless my meal. Bless my family with your nourishment. Bless my stomach with your mighty flame and give me the power to heal. With my power so mote it be. (I hold my hands over the plate/table while saying this.)
Before anyone asks, yes i do get weird looks in public. But hey, people stare anyway. Might as well give em something to look at.

Morning and Evening Prayers for Artemis, Apollon and the Agathos Daimon
Morning Prayers, in order:
Apollon Paion, Beautiful healer of all mortals, You with voice and lyre of gold, As your bright sun rises, I greet your brilliance, And ask for your radiant blessings, That your passion runs through my veins. Show me that which I cannot see, And let your fire ever burn in my heart.
Artemis Potnia Theron, Queen of Beasts, You who protects all girls, As a new day dawns, and your soft moon wanes, I greet you and ask for your radiant blessings, That your strength runs through my veins. Show me how to be myself, unapologetically, And let your hymns ever sing your glory through me.
Agathos Daimon, my companion, Who comes beside me in every step, Turning away evil and protecting me always, As a new day dawns, and Helios rises, I greet you and ask for your protection, That you once again walk beside me, Zeus Ktesios. Show me always the correct path to tread, And guide my feet always, oh, wise Agathos Daimon.
Evening Prayers, in order:
Artemis Selasphoros, Bringer of the light of the moon, Hekatebolos, Khrysalakatos, Now I come before you as your silver moon rises, In piety and in thanks for all you have given me, And for your voice, which ever brings me delight.
Apollon Mousegetes, As you have lead the Mousai, You lit the lamps before me today. And now I come before you as your bright sun wanes, In piety and in thanks for all you have given me, And for your light, which ever grants the sparkle in my eyes.
Agathos Daimon, As sure as the sun has shone bright today, Such has your unwavering companionship. I come before you as Zephyrus claims Helios once more, In piety and in thanks for all you have given me, And for your endless guidance and protection.
My order is simply because of the times of day that are most associated with them, always ending with the Agathos Daimon, to keep them close. Epithets are probably transliterated a bit incorrectly, I need to double check.

The Gods’ Blessings
My second oldest sister gets married today. I support her and love her so much and think she has made a fine choice in a husband. Our family got a little bit bigger and gained a new branch to spring forth great happiness and love. Though she doesn’t agree with my beliefs and I do not wish to impose them onto her, I do hope one day I will be able to share these with her. I want the best for her and for her life to be the happy one she hopes for and deserves. Whatever deities can bestow that upon her, I wanted to make a request to mine for her. I don’t usually pray for other people but here it goes:
K,
As you begin your life with your husband, I pray to the gods I honour. I ask for them to watch over your life and keep it well. I ask for you to be as supported as you can. I ask that your heart is light and your soul warm. I ask for these things so you can be happy.
May Hera fill your lives with love and understanding
May Hermes protect you in your travels
May Hestia fill your home with love
May Aphrodite show you beauty every day
May Artemis protect the children you share
May Athena fill your lives with wisdom
May Apollo inspire you to do great things
May Hephaestus grant you fruitful work
May Demeter keep your worlds beautiful
May Asclepius give you good health every day
May Persephone comfort you on days apart
May Ares keep you safe each day
May Zeus guide your decisions to be right
May Dionysus fill your days with laughter and cheer
May Poseidon guide you through the storms
May Hades guide your souls to Heaven in the end
So live, love and fill your life with it all.
Never forget I’m here if you need to call.
You’ve been through so much.
We will always love you very much.
You’ve made good choices and are doing well.
Anyone who says different, you’ll give them hell.
There’s so many here supporting you.
Cause that’s what friends and family do.
So you can take these prayers as just kind words.
And listen to your spirit and the advice that you’ve heard.
Your god and your family are here for you.
And just never forget…OLIVEJUICE

Glorious Hestia,
Hearth-keeper of the world.
Tender of the weary souls, she who lightens the burdens of others.
Fill my heart with your light,
so I may lift others as you do.
Radiant Hestia,
One of home. One of love.
Guide me as I spread your kindness.
As I spread your gentleness.
As I spread your hope.
Beautiful Hestia,
Guide my hands as I do by you.
Guide my heart as I love by you.
Guide my soul as I live by you.

Hestia of the Home
Hestia, the mother of this home, I thank you
I thank you in the warmth you provide and the roof above my head
With your protection over this abode with would not be true
All who are welcome feel the love you wove into the walls
All who enter know the embrace you give at the threshold
I honor you and pray to you in thanks today
For this is not only a house in which I reside
But a home that is filled with love that you’ve enriched each day
Glory to the Gods
