I saw Emma, the one that came out yesterday, and I absolutely adored it!! Obviously it's a 2 hour film so it had to take some liberties with the book but here are some things that I extra loved about it:

-the cinematography was beautiful

-the sets and locations were beautiful

-the costumes were more than beautiful, I actually wanted all of them even most of the mens

-they showed how in love Mr Knightley is! And he cried! With emotion! And he's a huge dork! Except he isn't because he's so tiny next to all the other men but still I love him even more now

-they made Boxx Hill (already the most painful part of the book) even worse somehow, like some woman in the cinema actually gasped

-they showed Emma and Harriet being friends!! She's not just a pawn in her matchmaking, she genuinely cares about her ahh

-Mr Woodhouse is just superb

-it's really fucking funny?!

-there's a scene of Mr Knightley in which I genuinely was just like mood and everyone needs to see it

It may not be the most accurate version of Emma but I loved it and I want to see it again
