I think the solution to kids on the Internet is to have specific, kid friendly spaces on the Internet. Kids wouldn't come across "adult content" on YouTube if barbie dot com still had flash games and this is a hill I will die on.

Maybe this was just how my family did things growing up but when I was a kid and we saw a lady with chin hairs or a small chest or large feet or a broad shoulders we’d say “it’s rude and mean to pick apart someone’s appearance” and mind our own damn business.

from my non-gamer pov (I'm an #ally), what this has looked like is a critical mass of maddened and delirious silksong posting for the past ~week that built to a sustained frenzied climax for about ninety minutes either side of the game's actual release, at which point everyone went absolutely dead fucking radio silent. I have not heard a single peep from any of you about what is happening in this game. no liveblogging, no screenshots, no reactions, nothing. my girlfriend emerges from her room every five-to-eight hours to intone "I've been skonging it too hard," grab a morsel of food, and withdraw to her chambers once more. Is everyone okay Are you having fun Is the silksong loud and beautiful and are you so very afraid.

I don't remember where I first saw the idea that the Dreemurrs are just as draconic as they are goat-like, but I've been obsessed with it ever since. Let Toriel breathe fire at her ex-husband 2k25!!!!

It was fun trying to balance intimidating with matronly. I think that stern nature is what makes her feel so regal, and I wanted to emphasize her fangs and brows to really bring that out. The fangs were especially important, because I wanted to make her feel like someone you could reasonably be afraid of at first glance. I know personally, I didn't trust Toriel at ALL the first time. I figured that Flowey was a lesson I shouldn't forget, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this woman had ulterior motives. Turns out the motives weren't malicious, just fueled by loneliness and trauma. Fun times. Anyways I wanted to bring out that slightly threatening aspect of her to contrast all the soft fluffiness. So she ended up somewhere between a dog, a goat, and a dragon. ALSO I THINK SHE SHOULD GET TO HAVE SMOKE COME OUT OF HER NOSE WHEN SHE'S MAD LIKE AN OLD CARTOON DRAGON OK THANKS BYE

They are still in the gateway. But ever since The Lamb usurped Narinder, the gateway is not what it once was. It makes the souls within it act differently. The longer they're there, the more they get lost, making their minds wander. Aym and Baal are stuck in their own memories.
