Carry On hockey headcanons!

so i’m in a rush and i’m making one headcanon story to make up for the fact that I can’t write a whole one rn but aaaaa i hope u enjoy!!

basically Agatha drags Penny and Simon to see the quarter finals hockey game for Watford

They don’t really know why Agatha’s suddenly interested in hockey but Simon thinks it’s probably because they just let Baz play again after he got temporarily suspended (for reasons “unknown” aka he just roughhoused too much)

Simon didn’t even want to go because he hates Baz and he hates seeing Agatha looking for him in the crowd even though they’ve broken up and she can do whatever she wants but Penny drags him along because he’s a BAFOON and needs to actually go out

Well now Baz is back on the ice and he’s playin left wing and after a couple of minutes Simon realizes ok this isn’t half bad

When Baz scores there’s a whole roar from the crowd and Simon is shocked to realize that he’s also standing up and shouting

he immediately catches himself and sits down though because he doesn’t want people to think that he actually likes Baz no that’s d i s g u s t a n g

after the game, the trio planned to go out on a picnic for some lunch but first Agatha wants to congratulate Baz first and Simon isn’t exactly happy

so while penny and agatha try to find Baz, simon leaves and goes to his dorm because he’s grumpy and moody

but to his surprise, Baz is already there

his skates are in his one hand and simon thinks it’s weird that baz didn’t change in the changing room

but simon remembers that Baz doesn’t like eating or changing in front of people (and he also thinks fuck why do i know that) so he’s probably slipped away to avoid attention

so there Baz is, barbecue sauce on his tiddies with his black, long hair all wet and down (but not messy), his green and black, hockey uniform that makes him bigger than he actually is, and his stupid socks that are drenched in water

simon thinks o fuck he’s hot but doesn’t say it, and baz has this look of kinda anger because he didn’t think simon would be here while he’s trying to change

that was part 1 :) part 2 is on the way

what happens next? i don’t know, i didn’t really plan this far

SnowBaz Crossword one-shot

You guys really liked this headcanon I made, so I wrote a little one shot for you guys! It was written at 2am so bare with me….

   When Baz arrived at Simon and Penny’s apartment, it was half-past six in the morning. Today was a casual day. A black t-shirt tucked into jeans kind of day. Baz loved how crazy it drove Simon to see him in jeans. He also wore thick, black sunglasses and a nice navy watch given to him by his step-mother.   Father Christmas had been kind to him this year. Showered in treats (and Simon’s kisses), Baz was thankful it was still holiday break. He loved his university, but he loved arriving at Simon’s door at ungodly hours to wreak havoc even more. The warm feeling of spooning Simon on his dark green, lob-sided bed were the days Baz cherished the life he had most. Quit seriously (when was he going to get the bloody bed fixed?).

so i was thinking, what if in Miles’ universe, MJ was actually just Zendaya

My brother was diagnosed with depression years before I was, and because of that he started therapy years before I did.

I still remember when I was a young teen and he was playing a Nirvana song and he stopped it at this one line: “I miss the comfort of being sad”

He told me that when you start to get better, there’s a part of you that misses being sad and that if you start feeling that way you have to be extra extra aware and careful because if you indulge the feeling you’ll go down a self-destructive spiral

And even though that was years and years ago, I think about it all the time. Especially when I’m reading discourse on the idea of getting so attached to mental illness as an identity that you don’t want to improve things because you feel safe in it and don’t know who you are without it

I always think of that line “I miss the comfort of being sad” and my brother’s warning

There are very few things as healing as taking a blanket, some snacks, and a good book outside, and finding some place to sit down and be one with nature. Whether it be under a tree, beside the sea, on lush grass, or beside a stream… going out and simply Being Somewhere is amazing for one’s soul.

Watch the flowers sway in the wind. Or listen for the hum of distant bees. Taste the fruit hanging from the tree, if it is the edible kind. Smell the scent of earth and growing things. Feel sunlight on your shoulders and across your face. Breathe in the wildness.

If you are reading this, I challenge you to, sometime in the near future, go outside and spend some time there. See the beauty surrounding you. Breathe deeply. It sounds like something out of a film or book; to go out on a gentle adventure. But the truth is we can do it now. Of course, as long as we have the power to tear ourselves away from screens and people.
