what kind of villain are you ?
CALMLY EVIL.
you chose your path fully aware of what it entails. you’re the suave villain, unflappable, smooth as silk. you’re capable of cruelty without breaking your facade, and live with the consequences without hesitation.

Reaver, though he doesn’t hate Sparrow’s children, is incredibly critical of them. They aren’t, in his mind, as capable as their parent and therefore doesn’t really respect them. While he treats them with respect, as one does with any monarch, it’s clear by the way that he speaks that he’s not as fond of them. His words carry a certain level of sass whenever he deals with them and he goes out of his way more often to undermind their orders than he did with Sparrow when they came into power.

There was nothing quite like Reaver’s ego. One didn’t have to be around him for very long to realize that his narcissism was nearly unbearable; pride and vanity practically oozing from every pore in his body. How many had lost their lives due to his self-centered nature..? He had lost count centuries ago. He had painted the sea red with blood numerous times simply because he could. He was of beauty and cruelty, vivacity and decay, and he knew it.
Even now, he could barely focus on anything other than himself. As the other spoke, Reaver barely heard a word. Peering over his shoulder with cold, uncaring eyes, it was very obvious that he really wasn’t in the mood to discuss anything that did not directly involve him. If business were to be discussed, it would need to be done at a later date. Turning his head back forwards so that he could look at himself in his mirror, he would bluntly respond,
“J'ai fini de te regarder.”

@lathsuledin said: “Why do I get the feeling you’re not telling me the truth?” - Lathas
“What reason would I have to lie? You and I both want the same thing, mon cher. Well-- Sort of. You want to slay Corypheus to save the world I’m assuming, and I want him slain because he’s bad for business.”
Lathas was right to doubt him. He wasn’t telling the truth. Reaver could find business and make money absolutely anywhere and with anyone. That meant that he could offer his services to all sides-- Corypheus included. Which, little did anyone realize, was exactly what he was currently doing. Every little secret, every plan that was being made, would make it’s way back to the elder one. If a few mages went missing and wind up in said elder one’s clutches, who was going to notice? People deserted all the time, and Reaver was unfortunately smart enough to know just how often and how many to take.
But the Inquisitor didn’t need to know all of that. In fact, by the time he did know all of that, the Orlesian would be long gone. Shrugging, he made a vague gesture,
“You’re correct to assume that I’m perhaps not the most trustworthy man in the world, but I can assure you that at this moment in time, I am being completely honest.”
meme - accepting.

The Thief is the most mysterious and contradictory of figures. It is the synthesis of beauty and cruelty, vivacity and decay, the ephemeral and the eternal.
The Thief is age, which robs us of our strength and looks. It is death, which robs us of our life. It is the worst in all of us. It is what we must all fear.

Anonymous said: "How do I know you won't justt stab me in the back?"
Reaver was, without a doubt, going to stab them in the back. There wasn’t a single soul alive that he wouldn’t betray, even Sparrow had fallen victim to his antics several times. He was a snake, the devil, and trusting a single word that came out of his mouth was likely going to either get you killed or cause you to lose absolutely everything.
Twirling his decorative cane once, the immortal hero would chuckle and practically wave off the other’s concern.
“You don’t! That’s what makes it FUN.”
