And I am sure how obsessed I am with the idea of ashland whatever that place turn out would be a dissapointment to me. Either it will be too different to it's og purpose or the exact same which do not fit the new sso vibe....

Star stable genuinely feels like its becoming what it was meant to be?

With the leading and following command, all the beautiful horses and animations, the new lunging/training stuff coming out, the realistic tack and locations we’re getting?!

I’ll be the first one to be nostalgic and homesick for the vibes of the old game, but id also be lying if i didn’t say this version was objectively better-

And i think a lot of critics are blinded by nostalgia? Like? 14 year old me and players in 2015 would go INSAAAANE for the horse breeds, races, tack, and interactions we get with our horses now

I cant help but disagree with people when they try and say sso is a uniquely expensive game. In Canada the average price of a switch game is 80$ CAD (or perhaps just the games I’ve bought, but usually they’re at least over 40$). Sso’s lifetime membership is 84$ CAD, which is essentially buying the game. Sso also receives weekly updates so not only are you buying a game (with a substantial amount of gameplay), but the game is also continuously gaining more content.

I will agree that star coin prices are pretty damn expensive but if you’re a star rider there isn’t any requirement to buy star coins since you get a weekly allowance. Prior to playing this game as an adult with income (so 2013-2020), i never once bought star coins and still accumulated a large wardrobe plus 20-ish horses off of star coin allowance alone. There isnt any competitive drawback to not having the newest horse on release either, since its not like they have better stats.

I really just think that games in general have become a lot more expensive. I don’t think sso is unique compared to other games.
