If you guessed I was going to post the rest of the Micah Moth spawn you are correct! Honey Pelt is brother to Spider Paw, Blue Whisker and Bubbling Stream. He is given to SkyClan as a kit to train into a warrior, and raised alongside Skystar's kits Dew Petal and Flower Foot. In Mothflight's book he doesn't have a ton of characterization because she is trying to forget about her children most of the time, but in the Novellas Honey Pelt is shown to have a close relationship with his adopted sisters, and askes about his birth siblings as well. He's a nice guy, but otherwise a background character. I think it's neat that the orange son got to be the son of the guy who literally killed his orange dad.

notes on how i go about stylizing cats from reference.
ive observed when drawing a cat with extra fat, its easy to lose the form and have it look like a balloon animal. if you keep bony landmarks and silhouette in mind as you caricature this can be avoided. these landmarks are places like joints, the spine, some points of the ribcage, and certain bones in the face.
the joints are where you "break" the silhouette of the figure. these are essential to a strong drawing and selling the volume of your character. interpreting the contrast of straights and curves around the figure will give a visual rhythm and prevent your drawing from appearing stiff and lifeless. some inner descriptive lines in places where muscle, fur, skin and fat are more obvious create a more defined shape that can really add something extra if you find your drawing is appearing too flat.
selling the markings by having them follow the contours of the body will also really help in making sure your drawings come across as volumetric. its easy to slap them on as an afterthought, but copy pasted looking markings can totally ruin the illusion of your characters dimension!
this of course is all relative to your own goals when drawing a piece, if you want your art to be flat and graphic, go for it! i will say it always helps my design sense to understand how things work in a 3d space before i get really abstract with them. the more you can understand your subject the easier it is to find success with the end goal of your piece.
this also geared towards animation. when you can "see" clearly how the character is structured from every level, drawing them in sequential motion becomes just that much easier. thanks for reading!

Making new clans for fun
Fogclan's medicine cat Spirithour:
"A charismatic young tom serving as the medicine cat of Fogclan, sucessor to Turtleshine. Despite his mentors mysterious drowning early in his career Spirithour has so far been quite popular within his clan, both for his looks and glowing personality. No matter how close cats get to him, Spirithour finds it hard to care about them truthfully. Still, he promised to never harm a cat and he'd like to not break it again."

Arc! I wanted to draw him because he was an integral part of Riverstar's Home, and he's pretty cool. It took me several re-draws on his face to get it right, not sure why haha. As a mentor figure he filled the role really well, and imo was the wise in tune cat that Riverstar was originally characterized as. I liked that we got to see more of where Arc and Ripple come from and that Arc while continuing to be a pacifist is shown to be capable and knowledgeable as Ripple's mentor.

Pine Needle! He is a Dawn of the Clans cat, first introduced with his parents as part of Slash's Group. He and Drizzle mostly grow up in riverclan though, and are given the option to change their names as kits in a special ceremony, he becomes Pine Needle but Drizzle keeps her single moniker. Pine Needle is the level headed compliment to Drizzle's enthusiastic personality, He often checks her on her confidence but they have a good relationship. When Micah and Moth Flight visit the clan he becomes close to Micah and tries to get the tom to stay saying that "you haven't taught me how to fish" and Micah retorts that he'll have to learn to swim first. Mist is his mentor, and the two have a close relationship as well. Beyond that he is mostly mentioned alongside his family, or on patrols. He seems nice!

Owl! He is Finch Song's dad introduced in Riverstar's Home. He doesn't do a ton, he is more important in how his relationship effects Finch and her motivations to stay with the cats of the park. He is described as quite old, and has poor vision that prevents him from hunting regularly or defending himself. I tried to make him look like a cute owl because I think that's what he needed!
