Tales of Graces AU where everyone gets elemental powers based on their country of origin's valkines. Asbel's wind artes tend to feel like being body slammed. Cheria has Healing Wind and somehow always summons cherry blossoms with her artes. Richard's winds are dizzying spirals which seem rather weak until he and Lambda master the art of the cyclone. Hubert's gusts are narrow and rapid like bullets, and stand out especially in Strahta where the rest of the military has water artes. Malik is able to hide the fact that he's from Fendel by heating the air around him to produce winds that can knock someone back, similar to Asbel, but with less force and more painful temperature. Pascal just explodes everything.
Sophie though... Not sure what element she should have 🤔 Maybe light, synthetically produced by her particles like her usual sparkles. Or earth, which everyone from Fodra originally had control over and thus bestowed to their combat humanoids too. Or 💐flowers💐 if you can call that an element 😅

It seems every week of work is trying to top the last as the absolute worst 💀#I'll try to get my queue back up but i cant promise anything 😓#Anyway Lambda's element is Bad Vibes lol (he doesnt need more powers than he already has)#We need more Strahta characters though i didnt get to describe any water/ice artes at all :(#It's hard to imagine ones for the Oswells/President since we dont really see them fight#But i bet Raymond uses his to drown himself whenever he doesnt get his way 😂#Also you can bet Richard uses his artes to create a constant Dramatic Wind for his hair and cape

i doubt it would make any sense but. Sophie and Richard role swap. I think I just wanna see a sparkly Richard face off against a cold-hearted Sophie 😅
#dolphin noises#there's a million plot things that would have to be addressed for this to even remotely make sense#namely is Richard still the prince and Sophie a humanoid? or should that be swapped as well#Richard could have lost his memory due to poisoning and Asbel helps him discover that he's like the lost prince#while Sophie slowly realizes she isn't human and falls into hopelessness emptiness and eventually nihilism#focusing less on 'not being human is unhappy' and more on 'feeling drastically disconnected is unhappy'#could tie in well w some of her L&L arc but you'd lose some of the themes of kindness from the og game :(#On the other hand. I'd really love an evil princess Sophie 😅 her gothic loli costume already kinda works#Im not gonna write this tho mainly bc Richard doesn't feel like Richard if his backstory is too different 😅
