To himself, he wondered if Zaveid knew that Kaze had no romantic experience whatsoever. Was that why he seemed to be his - main target for his teasing? This was more than just a conversation - it was a test of push and pull; to see which one would fall in the other’s arms.

It was obvious where Zaveid was staring and it was more of a nervous tic from being looked at; his tongue darted out to wet his bottom lip and he bit it again. 

“ I can’t think of anything you could give me that would be worth this much trouble. ” Kaze scoffed. “ Or anything that I’m interested in receiving from you. ”

          TRUTHFULLY, HE’S UNCERTAIN AS to whether or not the other intends to lead him along with his actions. the gentle pink hue that dusts his features --- not to mention, the way his gazes drifts, the ninja choosing to look anywhere but at the man standing before him --- could only suggest otherwise. and if it was the case that kaze was merely flustered, uncertain as to how to proceed, then ... well, in truth, that would only drive zaveid further. he’d be lying if he said he didn’t derive a certain amount of pleasure from the other’s reactions. but then, he’d also be lying if said he was only doing this to tease him.

         he clicks his tongue in faux-disappointment, but recuperates quickly. and almost daringly, he allows a hand to rise from his side, so as to brush a stray strand of hair out of kaze’s eyes; on the way down, he allows it to just barely brush the side of his face. he purses his lips. the devious light in his eyes continues to shine.

                      ❛  now,  that’s cold, kaze ---------    i’ve got plenty to offer, if only you’d                   open your eyes and let yourself see so!        here; want me to throw a                   few things out there for you? i'd be more than happy to help out.  ❜

        ❛   ZAVEID ——–    ❜    & her words PIERCE the SILENCE, though they were spoken with a gentle tone.    ❛    is there something bothering you ? —— forgive me, if i am being BOLD but ——- such SILENCE is rather UNNATURAL when it comes to you.   ❜

         HEAVY IS THE SILENCE that surrounds the seraph of wind; heavy, and thick with contemplation, with pensive uncertainty and bitter intrigue. though fickle and flighty as the element he reigns over, zaveid is no fool. he’s aware of the burden their shepherd carries ‘pon his shoulders, made no less heavy by his pact with the princess ( he’d sacrifice his own sight for another, and regret it none? truly the “goody-two-shoes” he’d pegged him to be upon their first meeting ). she means well in her convictions; she wishes to aid him along in any way she can. of this, he is similarly aware. but, all the same, zaveid finds he questions just how far her convictions will take her, when she comes to find that one she cherishes so has done naught but use her.

        turning to face her, he allows a porcelain smile, of sorts, to grace his features. a ruse ----- a facade, if ever he’d worn one.

                      ❛  'unnatural’, huh?     you sure you’re not just asking because                    you started to miss the sound of my voice,   princess ---------? ❜

Kaze didn’t think that men like Zaveid wanted to be figured out. Not that he, himself, was any better when it comes to being honest about true feelings. Kaze pulled his hand away but let it linger down his shoulder to his bare chest until it was completely off. 

“ I never claimed to be prophetic. ” He replied easily.

     UPON HEARING THE RESPONSE, he cannot help but to smirk. kaze’s hand leaves his neck, but it trails down his body from his shoulder with a certain lightness to it; zaveid finds himself wondering whether there’s more to the gesture, to the words, than the ninja would have him believe. ah, but if there was —– would he make it so easily perceived?  

                       ❛  y'know, you never said you weren’t, either. but, hey —– why                    not take yourself a guess? wouldn’t be any fun otherwise, right? ❜

      he would have to find out. gaze lowers to rest upon the other’s lips as he speaks, mischief shining bright in his eyes.

        OKAYOKAY so !!! idk  how this happened  exactly, but i’ve got over 200 followers !  & i’ve had this blog for what ? about a month ??  &  you can only imagine  how  HAPPY  i am rn ! it’s been a long since i’ve had a muse i’ve enjoyed writing as & enjoyed a blog so much in general. i’ve had few muses that did not last long for these past months, but alisha is something different. & that, my dear friends, is all thanks to you. in such a short time, i’ve gained so many wonderful followers, who i truly LOVE interacting with ! (  & of course those i want to, —— but am too shy to ask them to plot with me ! but no worries, i am gathering the courage ! )  so, without further speeches, i would like to  THANK YOU ALL  once more, & i am looking forward to many more interactions & threads to come with you all ! ♥  

         some of you i have interacted with, some of you i have gotten to know even better trough messages, & some of you i am still waiting to interact,  ( which i hope we can change soon ! c: ) some of you i have followed ever since i made this blog, some of you i followed just recently ; but you are all great & something i truly adore. stay golden, all of you !  ( also, sorry if i forget some !! i did my best to gather everyone here. )

Zaveid was close.

Maybe a bit too close.

Kaze could feel the heat off the other’s body and the suggestive words from his mouth fill the air between the two. Everything Zaveid said felt intimateand invading, and even the shadows that Kaze shrouded himself in couldn’t escape that same burning gaze.

He bit his lip and brought a hand to rest on the back of the other’s neck, gentle but firm.

“ Tell me; are you a man of your word, Zaveid? ”

      HOOK, LINE, AND SINKER. as far as zaveid’s concerned, he’s already won this supposed “battle” of theirs, kaze having fed directly into the brazen remark made by the aforementioned. it was a reaction the outlaw craved, and it was a reaction the outlaw received. an uncertain shift, the teasing of his bottom lip, and a hand on the back of his neck ( he has to reach up to manage it, zaveid notes, and stifles the urge to comment ----- nay, to snicker ); he’s uncertain, to say the very least, but he also does not back down. if he were any sort of gentleman, zaveid would commend him, and then desist. unfortunately, he was no such thing, and as such, continued on with the flirtatious facade, as it were. his head dips down, ever-so slight, and he lowers his voice, just enough so that only kaze would hear him ---- faintly. if he wanted to hear him more clearly, he’d have to get a little closer.

                        ❛  heh ——----—-  you tell me, ninja boy. i mean, you were the                      one who said you had me all figured out by now, weren't you?  ❜

(A little different from the actual skit but–IT’S MY FAVORITE) You can get it after you get Zaveid in your party and you rest at the inn in Pendragon. (I forgot what you have to eat though.)

❛ — Aw, don’t get excited! I haven’t even rammed it in… yet. Now then, what are you doing all the way out here? I wasn’t expecting company.  ❜

Luscious tone aims to betray what underlying little hint dressed oh so boldly for a suggestive nighttime skirmish laying in needy wait devilishly implies. Well, well. What fool prances about strictly on such overbearingly careless whim, oho! …and what’s that? Half naked to tastefully boot.

Why, if he wasn’t currently entertained with the notion of playing cold, callous castaway with naught but the clever gleam of hungry dagger in hand, perhaps he’d get it up for the occasion. Murderous? Why, certainly. Lecherous? Absolutely. Say what they will. Arguably, the task of figuring whatever which way to twist that collection of ugly faces and all of their shallow assumptions into something so much more pleasing is hardly the prize of lil’ ol’ anyone, hehe!

Ah, but alas. With dagger withdrawn and one silvered hazard tucked away at a hip, he isn’t ( thankfully so ) ’everyone’ – which spares him any need of fallacy in cheaply overplayed formalities, ugh. How revealing. Did he plan this? Don’t mind that lone eye, quite the little wanderer in the dark, especially when such a smooth complexion shimmers it’s finest beneath what paled rays of the glorious moonlight manage to push through their forested getaway.

       THE KNIFE IS SHEATHED, BUT so far as zaveid is concerned, the danger has far from passed; the man before him is nothing if not trouble personified, and any sense of malcontent that hung over them now would not dissipate until he himself disappeared into the night. from the sound of it ( that was, by the way he spoke ), however, that would not be happening anytime soon. there’d been some reason for his fellow outlaw’s appearance ----- ‘least, there must have been, otherwise he’d not have mentioned the fact that he’d not been “expecting company”. company; as though zaveid had intended on this intrusion in the first place! rest assured, he had not. ( but would zero be so foolish as to believe him if he said as much aloud? would anyone be so foolish? it’s doubtful ----- so, by some miracle or another, he keeps his mouth shut. at least, momentarily. )  

                         ❛  'yet’, huh? hey ----------       hasn’t anyone ever warned you about                                                           making promises you won’t be able to keep?   ❜

        lips pulled into a taut smile; the whites of his teeth poke out from beneath his lips, glistening and sharp. one can’t call their exchange a ‘game’ if one refuses to play along, after all ----- wasn’t that right? he’d hate to have to leave the other more disappointed than was absolutely necessary. ( after all, there’d be no shoving of sharp implements into his body this night; he’d be seeing to that much himself. ) he shrugs a single shoulder in haphazard contemplation. already, he treads a dangerous line by being here, it seemed. providing anything less than an optimal answer would only make it moreso. and yet ...

                        ❛  mm ----------         depends. who wants to know? you? ‘cause, last i                          checked, you didn’t own the place. besides, it’s not so hard to believe                         that all i wanted was to take a mind-clearing,  soul-searching stroll of                         my own, now, is it?  ❜
