His gaze was almost becoming an amused leer.

He just couldn't understand what could go wrong. Maybe he did, but Warren just refused to let doubt and fear get the best of him.

Besides, he'd rather be haunted by what has been, than by what could've been.

Now turning to fully face Rogue, Angel spoke again, trying to prove the positive points behind his approach.

"We gotta get this stone one way or another, so what better way than sneaking through the facility's less used rooms until we get to the room with the stone?" The man reasoned.

He just didn't consider the fact that the less used rooms were the most dangerous ones. Similar to their own danger rooms.

Their task was simple, get the stone used to empower new version of sentinels so that the program stopped making special sentinels and get out.

The way they'd accomplish that was entirely up to them.

"Not complete? What does it lack?" Warren questioned, moving a hand towards the machine. Holding himself back, the thought of whether he was supposed to touch it or not weighted.

In his face one could see a mixture of bewilderment and suspicion. What kind of assistant did Edward need? Either way, it was a great feat ⸺ to be able to built such a thing from scratch.

"You can call me Angel." The mutant began,

"I'm after someone but i don't think I'm supposed to give out my true name just yet."

His eyes returned to the inventor as curiosity built up. He was feeling gutsy by now too.

"Hate to say it but that thing looks like it could be used to no good too. What kind of assist do you even need?"
