Dansen Date Night Ideas

Kelly probably doesn’t like that Alex carriers weapons around with her at all times so, Alex has found a clever way to disguise them by covering them up with everyday objects. When Alex accessoriezes for date night it takes an extra twenty minutes because she has to decide between the belt with a flexible sword blade, bracelets that are mostly just brass knuckles, grenade earrings, and various other nasty surprises.

I am prettysure the writers are determined to keep Kara straight. If so I want her to date Nightwing (Dick Grayson) or Impulse (Bart Allen). They could weave either of them into a crossover between Batwoman and Supergirl, The Flash and Supergirl or, Arrow and Supergirl.

7. “I can hardly stand myself.”

When Kelly starts screaming, Alex wakes up and grabs her gun before she’s even completely aware of what’s going on. It takes her a moment to realize that they’re not actually being attacked, and then another moment to realize this means Kelly’s having a nightmare, and Alex should definitely wake her up.

“Kelly! Kelly! Wake up, it’s just a dream!”

The second Alex puts a hand on Kelly’s shoulder, Kelly grabs her wrist and tries to throw her across the room, but Alex has more combat training than Kelly does, so it’s not too hard for her to resist the throw. Thankfully, the whole thing wakes Kelly up, and she stares at Alex for a moment before scrambling backwards and saying, “Oh my god, I’m so sorry!”

“It’s fine,” Alex says gently. “You didn’t hurt me.”

“I did wake you up, though,” Kelly says ruefully. “I haven’t had a nightmare like that in a while.”

“What did you dream about?” Alex asks tentatively.

Kelly shrugs. “War. What else?”

Alex silently spreads her arms, and Kelly folds into them. “Sometimes,” she says, her voice just barely loud enough for Alex to hear, “when I wake up from those dreams, I can hardly stand myself.”

And maybe Alex has never officially gone to war, but she’s been fighting her own war at the DEO for years, so she understands. “I know it’s not going to fix anything,” she says, “but I love you, no matter what.”

Kelly looks up at Alex and smiles, just a little. “It may not fix things, but it does make me feel a little better.” She reaches up and kisses Alex’s cheek. “I love you too.”

In season five we will have to deal with the drama of Lena knowing that her best friend (Kara), her boyfriend and, her adjacent friends have been lying to her for years. In season 3 team flash learned that Barry had lied to them about changing the timeline and, in doing so might have irrecoverably damaged all of their futures while also inadvertently causing the death of Cisco’s brother. Which lie has deeper ramifications flashpoint or Kara lying to Lena?
