Well originally it was just for reblogging things i found funny then I realised fandoms from everywhere are on here and thats how we got here today

At my high school theater with my friends, playing random music through the sound system, dancing like idiots, while my old director is yelling at us from his chair to put on Sweet Caroline, and telling stories about past rehearsals… I… really miss those days…

… I was with my technical theater teacher, theater mom really, after we inducted some freshmen and sophomores into the thespian society.. I was crying into her shoulder and just clinging to her for dear life… For those of you who don’t know I’m moving and this coming year is my senior year… I was crying about how I have to leave everyone behind and how much everyone in this theater means to me and how I don’t want to leave my theater family… My teacher just held me and said “Just because you’re somewhere else doesn’t mean this stops being home… This will always be home… We’ll still be here and you will always have a place here… Mollyn, you’ll always be my theater baby… No matter where or how far you go…”

… I take what I said back… Last time I cried was just now… Thinking about how lucky I am to have someone who cares so much about me and loves me so much… She bought me lunch one day just for the hell of it.. She got my subway order right and everything… It was kind of funny because I actually forgot my lunch that day… I can’t express how much that woman means to me…

Music to me has always been freedom for me. I can pound out “flight of the bumblebee” on piano. Scream out “helena” in the dead of night. Sing “sick of losing soul mates” like a wounded bird. Strum “cant help falling in love” on my uku. I can express everything through music. I feel free in music.

Hi! I was wondering how often you re-wear cosplays or what you do with the pieces after use? I started cosplay fairly recently but have accumulated a pretty good collection of costumes but a lot of the pieces are fairly character/series specific and I can't think of ways to use them in new cosplays I want to do. I don't really want to tear them apart but I don't necessarily want to keep them all. Any suggestions? (Oh and I love all of your work and you guys are one of my biggest inspirations!)

HONESTLY. 

We give A LOT of our cosplays away. 

Or we literally just chuck em into the trash. 

WE KEEP SOME. Like. We keep the ones that we feel like rewearing the most. Korra, Tahno, Rey, Kylo Ren, etc. We keep those. But even then, yeah 200 cosplays is sorta hard to store. 

Sometimes they get recycled into others. Hawke boot’s became Karliah’s boots. Azula’s shoes went to minfillia. Mephisto’s cloak became Krennics… etc. Thats always helpful. 

And some fall apart and we just chuck em. Like Nilin and Jack and Maya the Siren. 

Others we just give away. Finery Hawke, Graves, Starlord, so many Mikus, Rei from Free, Varrick and Zhu Li – we re-home them to cosplayers who want em. :)
