I'm supposed to be posting for the "whumperless whump event" (and i will), BUT i have been thinking about this all day. Tom Bombadil is the personification of Nature at its purest form. Arda was created, pure and yet to be sullied ? Tom Bombadil was there (AS PER TOLKIEN ON ONE OF HIS LETTERS). Arda was created by song/ music ? Tom Bombadil likes to sing, and IS SUMMONED BY THE HOBBITS THROUGH SONGS; Goldberry also likes to sing. The One Ring ? can't be corrupted by it because it's not natural.

The Barrow Wrights ? defeated by him because they're not natural. His clothes? yellow = sun, red = fire, brown = earth, green = grass/leaves/trees, blue = the sky and water. Marrying and being protective of Goldberry ? SHE. IS. PART. OF. NATURE. NO MATTER WHAT SHE IS helping the Hobbits ? they're the race in Middle Earth that respects nature the most; same reason why he's friendly with elves. His house is beautiful ? him and Goldberry look the same no matter what ? UNCORRUPTED NATURE NEVER. F*CKING. CHANGES.

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

it can be disability pride month AND gay wrath month. it's also south asian heritage month in the uk. it's also national ice cream month! the important thing is to do as much as we can to ignore US independence day. this should be the cause that unites us all.
