Repost: Just found out I got selected by random draw to attend the Kobe Bryant memorial at Staples Centre in L.A. on Monday Feb 24th!!! Staples centre only holds 20,000 fans and between family, friends, executives, players, staff, season ticket holders, etc, I heard they were only selling about 5000 or so tickets to the public. Ticketmaster decided to do a random draw for those wishing to purchase tickets by registering online. Over 90,000 fans registered to purchase tickets within the first 24 hours last Friday and I would assume that number has grown to over 200,000 by today and somehow I got chosen!!! It’s the hottest ticket for any sports fan in L.A. I booked my trip weeks ago on the off chance I could get a ticket and I actually got one. I fucking won the lottery with this one!! One of the best things to happen to me. Get to pay tribute to my hero/idol growing up.
