I do love how my sporadic updates give me such fond nostalgia. Five years later I am marrying this same man and we bought a house together a few months ago.

whoops i keep forgetting this exists. my bad, having a life isn’t super conducive to being on here anymore. long story short: work was crazy, i got really sick, my boyfriend told me he loved me and that’s all great, i’ve had a grand worth of dental work done in the last week annnnnd now i’m apartment hunting for more space. woo!

It appears that my URL is once again relevant and I will repeat now and until the end of time YOU CANNOT HAVE IT. I got this shit almost a decade ago and will take it with me to my grave.

Once per fiscal quarter my benzodiazepine addled brain says “you should go back to this site and utilize your awesome URLs you’ve been keeping for ten years that have finally become relevant” and I have ever intention of doing so until I wake up the next morning and realize that I work in social media and deeply do not want to stare at another blue hell site on my off time. Or maybe I do because there is still a sense of anonymity here that most other sites don’t have. We’ll see.

Maybe I should start investing in long term stocks because boy howdy did I get in on the ground floor of some winners as far as URLs go.

I genuinely keep coming back on this bullshit with the intention of actually posting again but then just don’t. I figured I’d update a bit for anybody who still remembers me from way back when.

Above mentioned boyfriend and I are engaged, have been together over five years and closing on our first house in like three weeks. I’m still in Chicago and have a job that allows me to travel all across the country (pre-COVID of course) essentially yelling at people about skincare.

I might archive this blog because I’ve had it for like. 11 years? 12 years? Maybe time for a clean slate. Who knows!! I might just come back every other year and update on my life.

but to update everybody since I haven't really posted in like six months: - celebrated my anniversary with my dude, he's great - still work for urban decay, I'm apparently top seller in the company for our department store sect - I moved! I live in a bigger studio in Chicago a bit further north of where I was, I'm on the lake and have a dishwasher - I traveled to Seattle and California for work this year and that was great - and that's really about it
